Some do not realize just how demanding the job of a veterinary technician can be. It requires the ability to juggle multiple tasks while effectively communicating with other staff and veterinarians. It requires patience, people skills, the ability and willingness to learn new techniques and think on your feet, and an absolutely unshakable love of animals.

Update:

Swift is still missing. Last seen Wednesday morning 10:30 at Thompson Road and Seely Drive off of Garrison. Anyone in a 30 mile radius, it’d be extremely helpful if you gave your neighbors a call and kindly ask if they wouldn’t mind checking their properties. I’m hoping for good news today. It was a long night.

I hope she’s in the hands of kind people. 🙏🏼

Tuesday April 11th & Wednesday
April 12th from 1pm to 5pm. Please have dogs on leashes or in carriers & cats in carriers. Payment will be required at the time of service. No appointments necessary.

Happy THANKSgiving to our wonderful clients, patients, friends and of course the amazing staff I’m thankful to work with at MCVC!

End of Watch: November 14, 2022, in Yakima, Washington.

K9 Trex was set free of pain on Monday, November 14th, 2022, after suffering from an undiagnosable gastrointestinal disorder. We are struggling to understand, but have no choice but to accept that the Creator had different plans for you, our four-legged friend and protector. Thank you for your service to our Yakima community and its citizens.

Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ken Lust, DVM, and the WSU Veterinary Team for their tireless care and love for Trex during his health battles. He was truly in the best hands possible.

Rest in Peace Warrior, and give a high-paw to K9 Dexter for us.

These 3 dogs were found wandering at the Leidl campground this morning. They appear to be young adults and probably littermates. They are not spayed or neutered and are not microchipped. This cute little pup is “Carl” who was born via Caesarean section in July! He is a Braque du Bourbonnais (French pointer) owned by our wonderful clients Jeff & Brenda from the Tri Cities! The second photo is his name sake Dr Carl, me and his owner Brenda! It’s so fun to see our patients thriving! Thanks for making the trip over Brenda!
