Wells it’s been a long summer!! Oakley was diagnosed with Blastomycosis early April. We had hoped to be running her UT test beginning of August but training got put on hold. We started her on meds right away which she started responding to them. By the end of June we were able to start some light training. Training was progressing very well with her so started looking for test opening in September. We were very fortunate to get into the Cyclone test. Today we ran and Oakley knocked it out of the park receiving a 204 Prize l. Big thanks goes out to the cyclone chapter for putting on a flawless test and also to my training buddies which you know who you are!!! Also special thanks to my wife and daughters for allowing this to happen!!!

Indie was my anniversary/birthday present a couple of years ago because I wanted a “scruffy” dog that loves the water so we found an amazing kennel & got this awesome DD. Indie has been so fun to work with & has broadened our testing/training. Indie got the best dog trainer Brad Weets and earned herself some sweet hardware! Brad took her to the highest level in NAVHDA & a high score award in the German testing system🖤

Another memorable NAVHDA Invitational week is in the books🖤🧡 Our Indie Vom Cohansey achieved her VC and we welcomed a 3rd generation VC to the TKO family! Congrats to Case (MoxyXCreed) & thanks to Logan Gibbs for putting in the hard work to get him there! Also thanks to all our training partners (it takes a village) & Joe Lowry for producing outstanding DDs (Indie’s sister was there running too!) & of course to Emily Weets for having the great idea of adding a DD to the mix 😉

So Em & old man Duke got away last weekend for a snow goose hunt in summer weather😅 Duke loved all the one on one attention & Some unforgettable memories were made in the blind for sure😂 thanks to this amazing group of ladies for making this happen can’t wait till next time!
