Maple Ridge Farm is a full-service premier equestrian facility located in northwest Goldsboro (Rosewood), North Carolina, in Wayne County; owned and operated by Nathan & Laura Smith. MRF was originally established in 2002 in Johnston County, moved to Wayne County in 2017, and continues to grow and expand with the equine industry. We offer a wide array of equine services, veterinary services (through MRMVS), hay sales, MagnaWave, beef, and Mini Aussie puppies!

The hens are enjoying their new digs. They’re a huge fan of the floor level hay lined nest boxes 🌾 We’re experimenting with more of a sand/screenings base in their pen, and rubber mats under their feed/water. We’ll see how it goes 🤞🏼

Everyone meet our new livestock (sheep) guardian, Alfred (Alfie for short) 🫏 He is a super sweet, chill little mini donkey. He was a livestock guardian previously, so we are hoping for a seamless transition. Carne was ready to make friends 🐮

We have sheep now! We welcomed three registered St. Croix hair sheep to our farm (one ram, two ewes). We should have our first lambs on the ground this spring. We will offer registered lambs for sale and will also process offspring for meat. 🐑
