We have recently built our retirement home on 3 acres of land right outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While we love our 4 children and 7 grandchildren dearly, our fur babies, Josie and Ginger, have all of our love as well! Having a fenced in yard has allowed them to enjoy their freedom running around and playing with our grandchildren! I have had dogs my entire life - they have always been a part
of our home and family! After having Josie for just a few weeks, I knew that girl was born to be a momma! So, I’ve chosen to spend my retirement loving and caring for her beautiful Golden Doodles! While we will remain a small-scale breeder, we have designed and invested in creating a space for our Lux Pups to have all of the luxuries they deserve. They are given lots of socialization and human affection! On December 15th, Josie gave birth to 8 Golden Doodles in our wooden, custom-built, whelping box. They were kept there to ensure they would have their own comfortable space and they would be able to spend plenty of peaceful time with Josie. In there they were also trained to potty on a puppy pad. At 7 weeks, we placed them in their own crate with one other littermate. This was a very smooth transition for all of them!
They are fed on a 10am, 4pm and 10pm to help train their digestive system. Every 2 hours they are taken outside to potty. We have been blown away with how smart and well-behaved each puppy has been! That being said, we believe having them potty-trained before going to their forever home is certainly achievable! Prior to purchasing a pup, we ask that you complete and submit the application found on our website. Once approved, we will reach out to you to schedule a pick-up date. Each pup will be go to their forever home with health records, starter food, a blanket with Josie’s scent, and microchipped. If you have any questions, please text me!
