North Valley Vet Clinic is looking for an experienced full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
Large animal medicine, primarily equine, beef, and dairy is the focus of the practice. Assistants that posses a positive, teachable attitude will have the opportunity to be an integral part of our veterinary team with a wide range of responsibilities.
Expectations include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing for appointments
-Assisting with appointments and diagnostic procedures
-Obtaining samples
-Performing lab work and packaging samples to be sent off to labs
-Patient care and treatments
-Maintaining equipment and supplies (autoclave, blood machines, surgery packs, etc.)
-Part time receptionist duties
This is a rewarding position with a dynamic work environment that provides a strong platform for personal enrichment. Veterinary Technician certification is preferred but not required. Pay is dependent on certifications and experience. Benefits are included.
