We are so honored to be named the best of the best again for the eighth time. What does this mean to us? It means that we have set the precedence of what a boarding facility should be, do we stop there? No, we continue to keep Stonington the place where you want to bring your pets. It was a wonderful but hot weekend with some wonderful pets. Lots of popsicles were given after a potty . run at lunch time! The kitties loved the ac and enjoyed the sunshine through the windows. 🌞

We are looking to add to our kennel team this summer. Applicants must be 18+ years old. Job consists of walking and playing with dogs, cleaning kennels, taking care of cats. Merry Christmas from Stonington!

Some great grooming fun this week at Stonington. Make sure you book you appointment for the Holidays.

Thank you to all of our clients that dropped off early today so that we could get together as a family, dogs and all for food, fun and lots of laughs! Thanks Rodney and Jessica Ott for the refreshments and cookies!! We celebrated 9 years since I made the decision the own Stonington, a wonderful end to a great summer, and Mallory’s birthday.

Wow it was a furry day in the groom room today!!

Meet Segar and Julia. Segar came to us a couple of years ago terrified of the world. The first moment I met him he lunged to Attack me out of fear and insecurity. We didn’t say no to the owners but had them take him back to his bedroom. Needless to say he didn’t want anything to do with anyone. We gave him his space and respected his fears. Fast forward to last fall. I worked hard to earn his trust, talking to him, offering him cookies and treats. The owners did their part as well to help him with his fears. They called upon a great trainer who as a team we all worked to help him with confidence. Segar let me into his heart last fall and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Now he comes to Stonington and loves everyone. I’m so proud of him and his accomplishments. He’s so happy now. Kelsie and Julia have wanted to be trusted by him and now they are. I love to see my staff so excited and dedicated to your pets. Warms my heart ❤️.

Welcome to Stonington Kennels! We are a full-service boarding, grooming and training facility owned and operated by Licensed Veterinary Technician, Tracy Del Duca and Husband Jim Del Duca.

Stonington Kennels was opened in 1978 and the quality of care for the pets staying here has continued to be our highest priority.

Our goal at Stonington Kennels is to make your pet’s stay here a positive and stress-free experience so that they look forward to coming back to visit. We want our family to be their extended family!
