Dream Big Farm will have two stalls avaiable January 1st, 2025. We are located in Goodrich, MI. Beautiful farm thats looking to add to our current group of amazing hunter/jumper clients who are interested in training and showing with us. Horses receive the best care and are treated like our own.

The facility offers:

🔴A heated bathroom and observation room as well as complimentary snacks, coffee, water, etc for clients and their horses.

🔴Newer outdoor wash stalls and an indoor wash stall which has hot water.

🔴Newly expanded indoor arena is now 140x80 with all new footing.

🔴Outdoor arena is 180x180

🔴10 acre hay field we keep a path mowed around for clients to walk their horses on.

🔴Tribute Feed or Pro Force Fuel fed

🔴 High quality hay

🔴 Round bales fed as needed throughout the winter

🔴 Large rolling, green pastures

We attend local,rated and out of state hunter/jumper shows year round. We offer boarding, training, lessons, showing and sales. Stalls are cleaned daily, and horses get a lot of daily turnout(weather permitting). We are a NO DRAMA, family friendly oriented barn.

A much-needed post to report on my fundraiser to benefit the leukemia lyphoma society. As many of you know, I worked day and night on this event for weeks trying to do the best I could for all those attending. If you ever want to see folks squirm do a fundraiser, lol. It is not an easy task but then when you combine education with it, it becomes more difficult. The day of the event we met some amazing people, blood cancer survivors, their families, amazing doctors that took time that day, nurses, my colleagues, my brother Mark , his son’s family and friends that came to help and support. We had people ask that day why I was doing this for people I don't know; well, I've thought about that for a week now and the answer is I was called to do it. As a Christian, we are to do what we can and be "Christ like"; our life should produce fruit. We are created to need one another; we are created to come along side someone else not be self-focused. In a messed-up world that has no focus on Christ or things that matter, to have the opportunity to see people smile, to help them, to raise money for an organization that also helps so many, was a privilege and a blessing. There are so many i want to thank. Most that comes to mind is Dr. Sheqwara from Henry Ford, Dr. Yang from Karmanos, Tara Nisbet from U of M, brilliant medical professionals with big hearts. My amazing friend, Suzanne Tobey who shared her personal journey with this disease; she shared her faith and her strength came through! My husband was my rock through all of this, worked day in and day out. My nephew, Ben Matthies also rolled up his sleeves. My kids always supporting their momma, my parents who called every day to help, my mother in law who reached out to many, my brother Mark who drove to businesses to help get support, my sister in law and brother in law who helped with a silent auction basket but also donated, thank you!! Collectively together we all made a difference in the lives of so many people as we are called to do. Matthew 5:16 "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." A day before election day, instead of stressing let's shine a light and point people towards the true King!

Owner Patti Lawrence of Dream Big Farm is partnering with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help cancer patients and raise awareness around blood cancers and treatments.

All blood cancer survivors and their families are invited to participate in a Q & A session with experts from Henry Ford Cancer Center and Karmanos Cancer Institute on October 27th, 2024. Please register for more information and to attend this educational and fun event!!

I have two wonderful horses available for an in barn lease in Goodrich, Michigan.

Hola is a 12 year old, grey, 16.2h Canadian Warmblood mare. She is the perfect horse for beginner walk trot-crossrails. She has excellent ground manner and loves her baths. She has been off property to lots of horse shows and is the same horse. She is the nicest mare and loves people/kids. She also enjoys some trail riding and hacking out in the field. She does require minimal maintenance. Lease only

Grace is a 16 year old, chestnut, 16h Thoroughbred. She is just getting back into work after rehabbing from a nasty bite she got from a pasture mate in the field. She is more of a forward thinking mare and needs someone more advanced who is light in their aids and patient. She would be best fitted for trail riding, and jumping up to 2’3 when fit. She is currently doing WTC and some crossrails. She is very very sweet. She loves to hack out in the field and has gone on a few trail rides including a 9 mile hunter pace. She is also very very sweet. Minimal maintenance required. Lease or S(we will be picky about this as we have owned this horse since she was 2 years old. )

So grateful and humbled at our amazing first “Cowboy Church” that we had on Sunday hosted here at the farm. For all of those who attended, helped me and volunteered their time, thank you so much; it was an amazing evening!! This event had been in the making for a couple years with the assistance of Andrew Conte. He and I prayed hard and felt God leading us to host it but then we had to let God be in control and He was! We had over 100 people, had amazing praise music, had a wonderful DJ volunteer his time, a wonderful message by Pastor Keaton Washburn, 3 people BAPTIZED (which was not planned but such an honor) then finishing with some clean, fun line dancing! God was here in the midst of all of us and His presence was strong!! Congratulations to Cheyenne Yehle, Abby Engel and Jeff Engel for hearing that still small voice from the Holy Spirit and then doing it by following His direction to get baptized no matter where and how that took place! I’m sorry my water trough was soooo small!! lol
It is such a blessing to be able to use a place we love so much to share the word of God in such a fallen world!! Thank you again for all who made this so special!

❤️​ Super excited about our first Dream Big "Cowboy Church" that's planned for July 28th at 6pm. Please take a look at the flyer and spread the word. Two people I want to thank for taking a big part in helping me is Andrew Conte (Paige's dad), this was Andrew's idea and he has helped me organize it as well as Char who is going to Rock out (with Darius help, lol) in leading the Praise & Worship.
