This year Arcturus has some exciting plans! We have 3 dogs that we are actively showing and because of the amount of preparation for them we will not have any litters of puppies. We will miss having those dear little ones underfoot! However, I’ll keep everyone updated on our progress. First and foremost is Taylor. She’s taking us to places we’ve never been before, including Westminster! She’s all owner handled by my daughter Kaitlyn! Next is Troi. She too is handled by Kaitlyn. She has both her major wins and is solidly on her way to her Championship. She loves agility and we’ve promised her she will get to play in it again. She’s a German/American cross. Lastly, at all of 8 months is Breaker. He’s won a puppy class at a recent specialty show, but we want to give him a little time to grow up. In the meantime, anyone looking for a puppy is welcome to contact me. I know many reputable breeders in the German Shepherd world that I can refer you to.

We had quite a weekend at the Virginia Spring Fling Cluster in Doswell, VA!

The handsome boy Rook can now call himself CHAMPION Arcturus On the Wings of Night at Silver Raye (pending AKC approval). Today he earned himself Winners Dog and Best of Winners garnering a 3-point Major to complete his championship! Thank you to judge Stephanie Hedgepath for recognizing this big dude today.

Rook was expertly piloted by his handler and trainer Ron Webb, who we can’t thank enough for his dedication in seeing Rook earn his championship. He is owned and loved by our good friend Christina Miles and is bred by myself and my daughter Kaitlyn Hollinger. We also want to thank Kevin Brown for taking some great ringside photos of Rook in action.

Way to go, Rook!!!
