501c3 - Riding Lessons - Adaptive Riding Lessons - Equine-Assisted Learning & Therapies We teach students as young as 4, and we work with adults too!

We have a Special Olympics equestrian team and offer English and Western riding lessons. Students have the opportunity to compete in local horse shows on a monthly basis.

Winter Session lesson openings!

These are traditional riding lessons - these instructors are NOT certified to work with adaptive students.

Nine weeks - January 5 through March 8.

Lessons are private or semi-private. Students learn to groom, saddle, ride, and care for their horses. Lessons are suitable for children ages 5-14.

Price: $60/week private pay or $70/week with ESA.

We only have availability in the mornings:

Mondays
10am - 1 spot

Wednesdays
8am - 1 spot - for a student who already knows how to ride walk/trot independently
10am - 2 spots

Fridays
11am - 1 spot

Include your child’s name and age, which time slot you want, if you are using ESA funds, and any relevant information (horse experience, personality traits, etc).

If you can't attend any of the lessons, we do not offer make-ups or refunds for client-canceled lessons, but we will try to arrange a swap with another family with a scheduled absence.

Are Grandpa and Grandma visiting? Come and spend some time outdoors on a beautiful day and visit our friendly farm animals! We have a variety of activities available for everyone to participate in.

I am so sad to be making this post AGAIN, but hopefully this is the last one for a long while — our sweet pony Bella foundered back in July, and after many months of care and hoping, the vet has looked at her x-rays and advised that she is not going to recover from this episode.

Bella has been the safest, most unassuming not-so-little pony since she stepped off the trailer. She has been our go-to for preschool classes, birthday parties, camps, reading sessions, therapy groups, and anywhere we need a calm, steady presence. Kids love her heart-shaped star and her gentle personality.

We want to give her a wonderful last week, so please feel free to stop by sometime between today and Thursday and give her some love and (a couple of) treats. She is in the barn and will be happy to see you!

Equine-Assisted Learning Sessions for December!

Kids ages 11-14 are invited to join us for these (mostly) unmounted sessions designed to increase confidence, communication, and problem-solving skills. These sessions complement our horseback riding lessons as students learn how to speak “horse” and apply those lessons to the humans in our lives. We have fun, learn about horses, and learn about ourselves too!

Lesson openings!

We have these days and times open for lessons:

This would run for six weeks, November 11 through December 21. It is $50/week for a private, one-hour lesson where your child will learn how to brush, tack, ride, and care for horses.

Monday lessons are $300 for the session. Weds and Friday lessons are $250 for the session because there will be no lessons on November 27 and 29.

We have a couple spots left for our pony preschools this week!

Tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10am - FILLED
Wednesday at 1pm - FILLED

This class is for children ages 2-4 and limited to four students. Children will help groom and saddle our pony, go for a ride, do a craft, and explore our farm.

This is a one-time class. A parent or guardian needs to stay with their child the entire time.
