On 11/15 our beautiful cream girl Summer welcomed 6 puppies. 5 boys and 1 girl. Half of the litter was born very small in size.

Breeding is not for the faint of heart. We as breeders do our very best to ensure all of our puppies are healthy and thriving from day 1. We put so much time, energy, money, sweat and tears into our program.

Unfortunately sometimes things happen. Despite intervention and round the clock care 2 days later we lost 1 male and 1 female. It has been years since we have experienced a loss like this so it was very hard to accept and feel like we could have done more.

After a few days of working through those feelings I am happy that we have 4 still here. 3 are gaining weight and reaching their milestones and I feel good about their progress. We still have 1 runt we are observing and following the guidance from our vet to make sure he has a fighting chance.

If everything continues to go well we have two males left 1 I feel good to discuss now the last male I want to observe longer . Feel free to reach out for further questions .
