Calm Paws Dog Training How I got here: In 2011 I adopted a Pit mix. I took him through intermediate training and the instructor always used me as an example in class!

She thinks it's due to my extensive background with horses and it seems to transition over easily to dogs! While going through the training class the instructor asked me if I had thought about training him to be a service dog. I had never really thought about it or looked into it. That one statement has opened my mind and a lot of new avenues for me. I'm learning about rescue, rehabilitation, and

service dogs. I graduated from the Animal Behavior College for Dog Obedience. I'm currently working towards my CPDT-KA.

I’m loving having dog training clients again! This is Jojo and she’s learning to have some manners with greeting, going into and coming out of her crate, and personal space! Just wanted to let y’all know there are so many more options for dog chews out there than the mainstream “rawhide” chews. They are really terrible for dogs. If you don’t take any other advice from me at least do some research on this! Don’t even take my word for it, do some Google searching of your own! I wish the industry would stop selling them all together. Stay safe and keep your furry loved ones safe too! 💗✌🏻
