Good morning,
Here are some reminders about the change that will be starting today. We will have operating hours of Monday- Thursday from 8am to 4pm. From 2:30pm to 4pm we will be starting wellness by appointment ONLY. During the wellness appointment Doctor Hentges will take a look at your animal and provide any shots that are needed. We do offer packages that are attached below for both canines and felines. To be able to make wellness appointment call us at 843-572-2144 during operating hours or message us on Facebook. We can't wait for this new journey ahead of us and hope yall will join the journey!

With a lot of thought we have decided we will no longer be taking on overweight animals. If you come in and they are visibly overweight, you will be sent home so they can lose weight. This applies for cats AND dogs. If it happens that we notice once, we start checking in that they are overweight we will give you a call before we move forward. If you decide to proceed after that phone call, there will be an additional cost to the surgery. Attached below is what we are looking for. ***April 26th through May 3rd we will only be taking dogs for spay and neuter. We will not take cats or vaccinations during that time frame. We will resume vaccinations and cats on Monday, May 6th. ***

For your animals safety bloodwork will be required for dogs 5 years and older and cats 7 years and older. The bloodwork needed is CBC and Chem12. Bloodwork should be done with your regular vet within 90 days of your appointment and brought with you for your scheduled appointment. You will also need to see Doctor Tom for an exam (free of charge) before your scheduled appointment.

Effective immediately all dogs over the age of 5 years will be required to have a preoperative exam with Dr. Hentges prior to surgery.
Also any dogs over the age of 7 will also need preoperative blood work done with your regular veterinarian prior to our exam.
