Gortglas Lupin is a 7 yr old ISH by Luidam and out of a Master Imp mare. Lupin was picked out of the Monart sale in Ireland by Nicola Wilson Equestrian who also backed him and started his eventing career. I was lucky enough to take him over when he was a 5 yr old thanks to the support of his owner Roland Millican. Lupin is a jumping machine having just one fence down the whole season, and going double clear at almost all of his events. He’s also a huge character to be around on the ground always keeping us entertained. Lupin had a great season including a win at Fair Hill in the prelim, finishing 3rd in the 2*L at VAHC, and then stepping up to intermediate in recent months. We think he has a huge future jumping around some big tracks and I can’t wait to rev him back up in 2025 💫

Very happy with Casalto 🦹🏻♂️ finishing his weekend well with a solid show jump round in the 3*L MARS Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill p/b Brown Advisory. We are so proud of the way Klaus came through this weekend in the biggest atmosphere he’s experienced yet. There were a few inexperienced moments but overall there is a lot to be excited about and we are really looking forward to what he can accomplish in 2025! ✨ This weekend wouldn’t have been possible without Ruth Patricia Asquith who took exceptional care of Klaus all weekend, thank you Ruth! We are also very grateful for the girls who kept everything running at home, Rachael Livermore Mandolin Whitten and Gaby Behrens. We are feeling very proud of Peter Dean and Jenni Bickerstaff’s Assagart Earl 🌞 for his performance at his first 3* at Plantation Field International Horse Trials. Sonny laid down a solid test, jumped two clear rounds and just added some time to his score to finish inside the top 20 out of 50 horses! The Intermediate horses finished up their trip to the American Eventing Championships with Cathryn Brodie’s Casalto 🦹🏻♂️ jumping a double clear show jump round in the big stadium! The Top Carrera Syndicate’s Top Carrera🏎️ was also super though a bit tired from his day before. We are very proud of Kiki Osbourne’s Frijole 🌶️ who added nothing to his dressage score of 26.7 to take home 4th and the TIP Champion award in the very competitive Training Horse division! DZ’s first time jumping around with a YR, totally unbothered by trees being chopped down near the ring! This super sweet 7 yr old is ready to head in any direction with a new partner. He is available to be seen in Charlottesville, VA and is headed to Loudoun HT next weekend in the novice.
So thrilled with Cathryn Brodie and Cate Lowham’s Casalto 🦹🏻♂️ in the CCI3*L & Peter Dean and Jenni Bickerstaff’s Assagart Earl🌞 in the CCI2*L both finishing their weekends show jumping clear! Also very pleased with Roland Millican’s Traditionally Fernhill 🖤 with a bit more fitness and strength we have no doubt that he has a clean show jump round in him! Overall our experience at Bromont was nothing short of amazing and a great step forward for all the horses. The event was incredibly well run thanks to the organizers and officials who did a fantastic job.
