Good morning and happy first day of summer! I know it's a bit of a gloomy start so Miss Georgia wanted to pop in and brighten your day with her cuteness. 🌸

While she has your attention she wants to share a very important message. With all of this rain and moisture mushrooms are popping up in yards and neighborhoods.

Yes, there are many mushrooms that are incredible for our health and theirs but there are also many that can make our furry friends really sick. Keep an eye on those sniffers when you're out on walks. It only takes a second for them to eat something they shouldn't.

It's a good idea to do frequent checks in your yard and get rid of any you find. This picture is an example I saw in my neighbors yard this morning. They come big and small and in many colors.

Let's keep our furry family members safe!

When your pawrents book a slumber pawty for you you get to decide what we do.
Georgia Linda requested time set aside for snoozing, snuggles, playing hallway ball, outside adventuring and she definitely made sure I remembered her feeding times. (Don't worry G I wouldn't dare forget but thanks for the eyes and woos. 🤣)

Good morning everyone. I know yesterday's storm was something and many are still cleaning up. Be careful driving and walking. The crews worked super hard but there will still be some slick areas.

I wanted to put out a reminder to please keep an eye on your pets too. We know many love the snow but they also don't have an off switch and will keep going and going. With all of this deep snow and ice it is easy for them to strain or sprain muscles and also to cut their paws digging and running.

Please do daily checks.
As always have fun and stay safe.

Turkey, pumpkin, green beans, cranberries and sweet potato are all delicious, healthy foods that your dogs can enjoy safely! ✅

But … there are some foods you’ll want to keep away from them. No cooked bones, onions, grapes, raisins, chocolate or stuffing. ❌

Hi everyone, now that I've lured you in with cuteness of my furry friends I wanted to share some information.

With this crazy warm weather comes some pesky critters. One of my doggie clients in Portland got sprayed by a skunk in his driveway the other night. (I've heard of some getting sprayed in their yards too) I thought this might be a good time to share the following information again.

During all of this darkness we're dealing with it may be a good idea to keep your dog on a leash so you can get them quickly if needed. Be aware of your surroundings, carry a flashlight and keep a lookout.
I'm including the stink removal recipe/process video to hopefully help. You might also want to consider having an extra collar, harness and leash in the house just in case your dogs gear gets sprayed.

Stay safe and to all the dogs and cats avoid the skunks! 🦨

The final missing beagle from the rollover on the turnpike on September 14, Whiskey was located last night by the Maine State Police. He is expected to be fine and spent last night with our ACO Everett Leach. He will be re-united with his owner today. We are very happy Whiskey’s long journey has ended in such a positive way!!!!

Hi guys! I wanted to take a minute and share something I have been noticing. With this crazy humidity and now the rain we've been getting I have seen mushrooms popping up like crazy on neighborhood lawns. Some are really big while others can be hard to spot.
Please watch your pets. While there are many kinds of mushrooms that are beneficial for our pets the kind you will most likely see in your yard could cause tummy upsets or be very toxic. Please keep a close eye when walking. It only takes a second for them to gobble one up. Sharing my sweet client Gracie Mae and some of the mushrooms we saw today.

Cleo, a black and tan catahoula mix wiggled out of her harness and collar as someone started setting off fireworks on the Eastern Promenade in the Morning & Moody Street area. She is a year old, 32 pounds and microchipped.
