“Donny” is a 10 year old, stout 15.3hh, UNRACED thoroughbred gelding. Donny is a lovely mover with great form over fences. He has experience in the hunters up to 2’6 and has currently been used for IEA and a small lesson program. Donny would prefer to have his own person which is the only reason he is for sale.

Donny is a true kick ride that’s not going anywhere fast! If I didn’t say he was a thoroughbred, you’d never know! He looks, rides and moves like a warmblood. He loads and trailers easy, same horse off property, no spook, hacks out alone or in a group, can live in or out, stands for vet/farrier/bathing/etc and is as easy keeper as they come. No maintenance and only wears shoes up front currently.

Donny is suitable for an AA or teen working with trainer. He is certainly a lovely hunter ride but could absolutely dabble in other disciplines to be a fun all around horse!

2y/o stud c**t. Just got back to his own farm after being with me for 2.5 months. It was pouring rain, he’s never worked while other horses were being ridden…certainly not jumping….and Lainey Ashker is teaching a clinic! One moment where his second brain got the best of him but he was a total rockstar 😎 he showed off all his new tricks for his owner and Lainey…we are all so excited to see him develop over the next few years.

*intern opportunity*

I am very lightly searching for an intern who wants to learn about c**t starting and working with horses that have behavioral issues. Candidate MUST be 18+ and commit to a few hours 2 days a week (flexible on what days and can very week to week). Small program with no more than 4 horses at a time but a wide variety of horses coming and going. Lots to learn for someone who is motivated and great for someone who may want to train horses professionally someday.

Must be a confident, good rider. This means you’re solid at riding and ideally have some experience with young/green horses. This is an unpaid position with very minimal barn chores in exchange for A LOT of hands on time and one-on-one instruction. There will be opportunities for some additional paid work as well.
