Happy 1st birthday to the Christmas Litter!!
I've been reflecting back on how intentionally raising and empowering puppies can change everything!
They were so many challenges that came with the first BAB litter - getting used to the curriculum, holding my ground on what family's adopt them, learning how to work at home full time, and what to do better with the next litter!
I learned a lot from mistakes I had made, but I am so grateful because the mistakes make it a quick and unforgettable lesson.
I never would have dreamed I would have coast-to-coast puppies! My eyes were opened to Flight Nanny's in the Christmas Litter. One pup went to California, and one to New York.
What a crazy year it's been! I am so grateful to be living and working my dream 💕
Panther and Figgy's temperaments just melt my heart 🥰
Watch till the end to see Huckleberry 😍
Proud of these pups! They did incredible with coming into the big house for the first time.
While they have listened to plenty of soundtracks on what a busy house sounds like, it's not quite the same as the real thing.
They're certainly getting exposed to it, with my brother playing a loud video game and someone cooking in the next room.
They absolutely loved this!! Happy 3 weeks old to these sweet Aussies 🥰
I'm so excited to start the exposure curriculum!
Pups had a BUSY Monday!!
Potty training, puppy mush, eyes opened, and they're starting to walk 😅 they're keeping me busy!
Pups first feeding of Puppy Mush... I think they like it 🤔
I'll be honest, my motivation was sourced strictly from the fact I could see a time-lapse of it afterwards.
Enjoying the fact that the room only needs to be cleaned once a day at the moment... I know it'll change in a couple weeks to 3-4 times with spot cleaning all day 😅
Look at who gets to stay with us for a little bit... Evie!! She is such a sweetheart, her previous name was Holly and she has been with her new family since February.
I'm so happy we get to spend some time with her 🥰
My heart 😍 I'm ready for puppies again!
This is what Psykhe has wanted the past few days - just some extra cuddles and love 🥰 we're already halfway through the second trimester!!
Obstacle courses are probably my favorite thing to do with the pups. I get to see how my encouragement affects each puppy and how they brave and enjoy the challenge.
Empowering puppies 4 paws at a time!
All 4 of my dogs are starting their "boot camp" sessions. What does this mean?
They will be on a leash, long lead, or in their crate for the next couple of months.
We are kicking bad habits in the butt, teaching a calm state-of-mind, and ending it with being more at peace with life and living with each other.
I am already gaining a better understanding of each of my dogs - and they are already starting to understand so much more of what I am asking of them.
It is more difficult for me to train my older dogs versus a puppy - but it is certainly possible with a lot of work and time. I am so excited to see more results from this new training program, which I can pass on to my puppy clients!
This is what gives me an abundance of gratitude to have a little 2 month break from litters.
For the next 2 months I'll be plenty busy with training, planning for a wedding, and getting the renovations done with the min barn.
And then it will be back to raising some badass puppies!
The puppies loved being out for so long! They spent the last half of this video sleeping under the bed 💤
They got to make two new friends whom they love already!!
We got a lot farther on "The Barn" than I had suspected. Only one more side to do and then it's just trim work!
It's simple - but pushed them enough.
They heard loud cars outside for the first time (other than the noise playlist), they climbed over a new bed that smells like other dogs, they met two complete strangers, they went outside for the first time with the only familiar thing being me and my family.
I am so proud of them!! They're doing so well and gaining more and more confidence with every challenge 🥰
Love me a good Place proofing session!
The gift of paint!
I wasn't planning on painting over this interesting blue 🤨 until a year or so. But my parents got me paint for my birthday and I was able to start painting today!
What color do you think it will be?
This is the key to ensuring a puppy will be honored. Evaluations are a way for us to give the puppies a voice, they will tell us what they want and need in this life.
I evaluate them in a room they have never smelled, with objects they've never felt, and a person they haven't worked for.
This shows us how they react by putting them in a completely new situation, we can gauge confidence, nerve strength, tender-heartedness, willingness to work, and more.
Working with a person who they know, yet she hasn't ever asked them to work and follow her. They still have to build trust with her.
They are asked to jump into situations and explore in ways they may not be confident in.
They tell us, with their body language, when they need encouragement and help.
There is no right or wrong in evaluations.
However they react will give us more answers to who they are.
It is beautiful to see the diversity of personalities.

Feeling very blessed this morning 🥰
Both of these jobs helped me get where I am.
They both supported, and continue to support, my dreams and business.
They both gave me so much joy throughout every week - my managers snarky comments, my bosses sarcasm, the young family with all the giggles and singing.
It was hard to leave both jobs, they were easily the best jobs I've ever had the pleasure to work at.
But I am so grateful to be able to say I am full time and running my business like I've dreamed to do for years ❤️
