Blue Boy 💙 Those little noses are starting to fill in so quickly! It has been such a busy summer/fall with pups that we are really enjoying have one litter right now. We have lots of time to focus on some other things and homeschool. Our adult dogs are a job and a half themselves, so we really aren't too bored! 🤣 It will be super busy around here again in a couple of months I hope, but for now we are soaking in the much needed refresh. 🙌

Little Pink Girl needed some extra groceries, so she is our first pup to try some home made formula that I've heard works much better than the canned option. She loves it so far!

Fantastic News!! Copper's fertility testing came back great...he gets an A+ :-) While I won't breathe a sigh of relief until Luna is confirmed pregnant by him, (should be in heat anytime,) I am very happy with these results. It was definitely surprising when Lady wasn't pregnant, but Monica had the issue herself because she was exposed to both Hugo and Copper and has never gotten bred. We never saw him and Phoebe tie, just attempts so I think we just had some fluke things go on.🤞 Super happy that he isn't the problem, if we even have a problem. 🤷‍♀️

PUPDATE from both Sierra, and her mama, Magnolia, who went to live with her when she retired last year! 💜 Retiring our dogs is a tough part of what we do, but we really have decided it is the best option that lets us continue doing what we do. Some other breeding programs use what's called a Guardianship Program, where their females live with a family but come back to the breeder to have litters, but when they are retired they live continue living with their already family. I have thought about maybe dabbling in that, but I think it is equally stressing on a dog to go back and forth, so have decided that adopting out at retirement is what suits our mamas best. 🖤🤎🤍 I always love hearing how they are doing, and they always look SO happy.
