We will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year, so please keep this in mind for any food or medication refills you need. We do require 24 hours notice for any medication refills, so contact us now if you are running low on any of your pet's medications. For the holiday, Blue Pearl in Port Washington and Gelndale will have limited hours on Christmas Eve. WVRC in Grafton will still be open 24/7 both days

WHS has taken in a group of 23 kittens and cats who were surrendered to our care from a single household, and we're expecting more to arrive from that home in the coming days. Many are under-socialized and require medical attention for a variety of ailments.
As their care plans are determined, we will be placing some of the cats into our foster program, while others may stay at the shelter as they recover before eventually becoming available for adoption.
In the meantime, we would be so grateful for contributions of any size to help offset the costs of their food, veterinary expenses, medications, supplies, and care.
