Curious why it is beneficial for your dog to Snuffle?….

🧠Snuffling fulfills a dogs natural behavior of:
• Scavenging
• Foraging
⭐️ Turns on the Seeking System (thrill of the hunt) which in turn releases dopamine (the feel good hormone) into their systems as well as endorphins (helps a dog feel relaxed)
Seeking creates more optimism!!

We want to express our immense appreciation for the ✨Johnson Pups✨ • Nancy and David have been bringing their pups to the Center for over FIVE years now! Every Friday afternoon we get the joy of playing with ( usually 5 or 6 ) of their puppers! • Skills for life
This class focuses on games you and your dog can play every day; teaching your dog skills and behaviors to help them to continue to develop into a well-mannered, happy, and safe dog - all while building a positive relationship between you and your furry loved one. You can expect to grow your dog’s calmness, optimism, confidence, focus and impulse control in this class.

• FUNgility
This course is an excellent way to exercise your dog’s mind and body. Learning to navigate through tunnels, climb the A-frame, or cruise over the dog walk will build confidence and focus as well as deepening the relationship between you and your dog.

• Puppy Enrichment
This four week class of enrich, explore and socialize sessions are perfect opportunities to help your puppy be the best they can be! This class will assist you in building and maintaining trust with your pup through new experiences that help prepare your puppy for a full life alongside you.

• Skills 2.0
Up your dog’s skill set for relaxation, self regulation, focus, loose leash walking and more! This class will continue to expand on the lessons taught in Skills for Life. Real life scenarios will be utilized to create success in a variety of situations as well as giving you the knowledge of how best to support your dogs when they’re over excited, anxious, or worried in any given situation.

Today’s Pup Appreciation goes to……

✨✨Zoey✨✨

🐾Zoey has been coming to the center for over TWO YEARS now! Every Tuesday morning Zoey’s loving owner Tara brings her for a 30 min assisted gym session. Their bond has continued to grown so much through play and teamwork. Zoey’s favorite enrichment activity is snuffling, whether it’s snuffle mats, ball pits, hidden treats she has to find or puzzles, she loves it! Her confidence has grown tremendously and their relationship continues to blossom🌸

Thank you Tara and Zoey for your continued support and bringing a smile to our face every week🐾💗

🦴Our Skills for Life class will provide you with games you can play daily with your dog to help develop a happy, well-mannered pup!

You can expect to grow your dog’s calmness, optimism, confidence, focus and impulse control in this class. As you and your dog learn the games, we’ll work on generalizing them to a variety of places and situations. And of course, we’ll incorporate fun into every aspect!
