Despite her small size, Mitzi has a big personality and plenty of energy to burn in the yard!
She's also great with kids, displaying gentle and patient behavior that makes her a fantastic addition to any family. Mitzi is unfazed by cats and can coexist peacefully with them. Her impeccable manners make her a polite treat-taker.

As we reflect on 2024, we are beyond proud to be able to say that we saved ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฌ dogs this year! Most of them are in this video! ๐พ
This year has been filled with twists, turns, ups and downs for us. In January we took over running Tailwaggers with minimal training and a prayer. By August we were beyond stressed and actually quit for a brief time. The next thing we knew, we were the President and Vice President of this rescue! ๐คฏIt was then that we asked for more help and so many wonderful people stepped up to volunteer! In October Tailwaggers' founder, Dawn, passed away. ๐ค In November we brought up another 48 dogs, which brought our total up to 210. Ten of which are in loving foster homes waiting to meet their forever families. The other 200 were adopted and are living in their forever homes!
Had we not seen and experienced it ourselves, we wouldn't be able to believe so many people would be willing to help us continue Tailwaggers' mission. ๐We've learned so much throughout the year, though we're sure there are many more lessons in our future.
Thank you so much to everyone that's helped us this year! ๐ We say it all the time, but we truly couldn't do this without our supporters. As two gals with full-time jobs, we've certainly realized that running a dog rescue on the side isn't for the faint of heart. Without our community's help, we would either be human balls of stress and/or we wouldn't have been able to help nearly as many deserving doggos this year! We are incredibly grateful for everyone's support!
