This is a great post from our friends at Tail Wag Wisdom. When Leia had her cough one suspected reason was a collapsed trachea. At the time I kept them in a collar, reasoning that it was lighter and they didn't pull.

Although ($800 later for an x-ray) it didn't turn out to be a collapsing trachea, I now keep all my dogs in harness just in case.

Do you know the importance of using a harness?

I never put a leash on Henry without a harness.

Today Leia was spicing all over the house. I saw her buttons got pushed behind her watering bowl so got them out in case she wanted a word she had access to. It's been a while since she used them.

She pressed both, listened and then:
WALK WALK WALK WALK!

With an extra spicy flourish on the last walk. It looked like she was doing a drum solo. This is a video of her anticipating that walk very mightily. I'm glad I have the buttons because she usually doesn't like rainy day walks so I don't take her.

Today is the third anniversary of Rocco's passing. This time we are doing a celebration of life with all of his videos and photos. His most favorite thing in the world was being in front of the camera (more than even treats! And he loooooved his treats.)

Our neighbor has the most wonderful tree in their yard. We asked if we could take our fall photos there and got permission! Sandy could hardly contain her excitement!
