We have an angel pup and cat tree up! If you would like to adopt one of our angels and provide them with a few extras this Christmas feel free to come by the shelter and pick out your pup or cat. If you can’t make it to the shelter leave us a comment with your preference on cat or dog and we will send you a picture of a cat or dog still in need. We also have paws if you would like to purchase items the shelter is in need of.

Intake:

Strays: 7 cats, 16 dogs
Surrenders: 5 cats, 11 dogs

Total: 12 cats, 27 dogs

Outcomes:

Adopted: 3 cats, 5 dogs
Rescued: 11 cats, 9 dogs
Returned to Owner: 7 dogs
TNRed: 8 cats
Died: 1 cat
Euthanized: 1 cat, 8 dogs

Intakes from each jurisdiction:

City of Graham: 1 cat, 10 dogs
City of Olney: 9 cats, 8 dogs
City of Newcastle: 4 dogs
Young County: 2 cats, 5 dogs

As always, we are asking owners to be responsible. Keep your pets contained and keep ID on and microchip them. Make sure the information on the microchip is up to date. Look for your pets if they escape. Vaccinate your pets and spay/neuter.
