Dakota • 2014 Sorrel Quarter Horse Gelding • 15hh

Dakota will be a been-there-done that kind of gelding that any level of horseman is sure to enjoy. He's been in really good hands his entire life and will be a good horse to do any job you wish to do. He's won money at the ranch rodeos and sortings. He has been ridden by everyone from a youth on up. He has been shown at the 4-H shows. Dakota has been packed in the mountains and is a great horse down the trail. Easy peasy in the arena is the only way I can describe him. He has a smooth jog, lopes around on a loose rein, low headed and stops when you say whoa. Dakota is easily guided around with one hand, he's soft in the bridle and very kind natured. Dakota is also exceptional outside of the arena. He has been on many overnight trail rides. He is traffic safe, crosses water, handles hills and is truly point-and-go. Honest and trustworthy no matter the situation you put him in. We have used him on the ranch, roped on him in the pasture, sorted in the alley with him and he just makes every job easy. Dakota is traffic safe, doesn't get rattled when hauled into town. We really can't say a bad thing about him. There is no buck or bad habits to him. Dakota meets you at the gate every day, he loves attention and has that big brown kind eye. Dakota is 11 years old, 15h and ready for his next family to love just in time for Christmas. He doesn't mind the tarp, the flag or ropes all over him and I know he won't mind wearing a big bow on Christmas morning.

Ellie • 2014 AQHA Bay Mare • 14.3

Affectionately known around the barn as Ellie. She is very enjoyable to ride with her easy going pace, kind nature, and willing to please personality. Down the trails she will ride up and down the steep hills, over rocks, downfall and through the creeks. Ellie walks out on a loose rein and where you point her at the speed you ask. She is easy to ride and if you know the basics you can ride her. Saddle her up any day of the week, every day or next month and she will be gentle with no bad habits. Ellie lopes around the arena picking up both leads, she has a cute jog and is smooth in all gaits. We have used her to sort and gather cattle as well. It doesn't matter what the job is for the day she is ready to go. Take her by the highway with semis going by at 75 mph and she doesn't ever bat an eye in their direction. Ellie stands to be groomed; she loves to get attention from our little girl and is just peaceful to be around. She will stand tied all day, is easy to load and unload out of the trailer. Ellie picks up all of her feet, stands to be bathed and is good in herd of mares or geldings. We have desensitized her to tarps; flags she doesn't mind ropes all over her either. She is willing to learn new things and at 11 years old she is true, tried, solid and seasoned. Ellie stands for you to mount from a fence, a step, the ground or really anything. She stands 14.3h making her the perfect height for most. We really can't say anything bad about her she's fun to ride and easy to love.

Travis • 2015 Sorrel Quarter Horse Gelding • 15hh

Travis is here to give you something a little extra special this Christmas. If you are looking for that gelding that the entire family can ride and enjoy Travis is your guy and he will be more than happy to wear a big bow and stand by the Christmas tree. Travis will take care of his rider. He is one hand broke and gentle as they come.

Comfortable, easy, predictable and fun to ride is the best way to describe him. Travis a true gentleman on the ground and is your honest trusted partner when you are in the saddle. He has been used for basic ranch chores and he has roped some in the pasture. Travis knows his way around the feed yard and what a hard day's work is. He walks right through the water confidently, crosses bridges, traffic safe, doesn't mind the dogs running around or all the commotion of the kids. Travis is just as easy to ride in the arena. He has a nice jog, smooth extend trot, lopes around with ease, pivots around himself and has a nice side pass. All his experience makes him perfect for the kids to take to the 4-h shows, mom or grandma to ride him down the trails and dad use him on the ranch when he needs an extra mount.

Travis truly is an all-around kind of guy. At 10 years old he is a seasoned veteran. He stands 15h. He has a stout build and enough eye appeal to be noticed just about everywhere. Travis has handled every situation we have put him in with ease. He's safe around our children and for them to ride him as well. We really have enjoyed having him around and know that his next home will love him as much as we have. Chic San Whiz affectionately known around the barn as “Merlin” and a total charmer. He will have you falling in love with him before you know what happened. Not only has Merlin had reining training, he is also the solid point and go type down the trails. Merlin has been exposed to everything in our program. We really enjoy using him on the ranch gathering and doctoring cattle. He is so handy to use in the sorting alley with his cow sense, athletic ability and training. This horse has a way of making you feel you at home on his back whether you are loping him around in the arena, crossing water, or putting in a days work on the ranch, this is the kind of horse that anyone can get along just fine with and you can have the confidence that he will take care of you. Merlin has a nice turn around, big deep sliding stop on whoa and easy roll backs. He lopes around on a loose rein and lopes out right from a walk. He’s gentle for our kids to be around and ride with us this is a fancy 6 year old gelding with his whole life ahead of him. Merlin can go so many different directions; he would really excel in the roping pen from heeling, breakaway to calf roping. If you want that fancy one hand ride with power steering that just goes everywhere you ask Merlin will be your trusted partner. He stands 14.3h and is a pleasure to be around. He just melts with his head in your chest while getting his cheeks scratched soaking up all the attention. His personality is second to none and we believe you will enjoy him as much as we have. When Luxury and safety are on the top of your list then this is the gelding for you! Fancy colored and the total package family horse. He is Kind, Quiet and Gentle always and is great with our kids. He seeks out attention and is very patient while our son leads him and grooms him. Affectionately known around the place as “Romeo”. He is a 10-year-old Dun and White Tobiano Paint gelding. Romeo is as pretty as a picture and he turns heads everywhere he goes. Whether you’re showing off in the arena or cruising down the trails; he will always be the classiest one around. He doesn’t just show up. He shows off. Romeo stands 14.3h and is very thick made. He wears a size 1 shoe and is shod currently on all 4 feet. We have ridden him everywhere on our ranch and done just about everything you can do horseback with him. We gathered and sorted cattle with him, hauled him to the ropings and used him to clear the arena and push cattle back up. He is one hand broke and is very gentle. He has a calm demeanor about him, and we believe he would suit pretty much anyone who can hold the reins. Romeo will lope around the arena with cadence and catches both leads. He will side pass and open and close a gate. He has been desensitized to all the props, equipment and kids around here and isn’t a spooky horse.
