Chic San Whiz affectionately known around the barn as “Merlin” and a total charmer. He will have you falling in love with him before you know what happened. Not only has Merlin had reining training, he is also the solid point and go type down the trails. Merlin has been exposed to everything in our program. We really enjoy using him on the ranch gathering and doctoring cattle. He is so handy to use in the sorting alley with his cow sense, athletic ability and training. This horse has a way of making you feel you at home on his back whether you are loping him around in the arena, crossing water, or putting in a days work on the ranch, this is the kind of horse that anyone can get along just fine with and you can have the confidence that he will take care of you. Merlin has a nice turn around, big deep sliding stop on whoa and easy roll backs. He lopes around on a loose rein and lopes out right from a walk. He’s gentle for our kids to be around and ride with us this is a fancy 6 year old gelding with his whole life ahead of him. Merlin can go so many different directions; he would really excel in the roping pen from heeling, breakaway to calf roping. If you want that fancy one hand ride with power steering that just goes everywhere you ask Merlin will be your trusted partner. He stands 14.3h and is a pleasure to be around. He just melts with his head in your chest while getting his cheeks scratched soaking up all the attention. His personality is second to none and we believe you will enjoy him as much as we have. When Luxury and safety are on the top of your list then this is the gelding for you! Fancy colored and the total package family horse. He is Kind, Quiet and Gentle always and is great with our kids. He seeks out attention and is very patient while our son leads him and grooms him. Affectionately known around the place as “Romeo”. He is a 10-year-old Dun and White Tobiano Paint gelding. Romeo is as pretty as a picture and he turns heads everywhere he goes. Whether you’re showing off in the arena or cruising down the trails; he will always be the classiest one around. He doesn’t just show up. He shows off. Romeo stands 14.3h and is very thick made. He wears a size 1 shoe and is shod currently on all 4 feet. We have ridden him everywhere on our ranch and done just about everything you can do horseback with him. We gathered and sorted cattle with him, hauled him to the ropings and used him to clear the arena and push cattle back up. He is one hand broke and is very gentle. He has a calm demeanor about him, and we believe he would suit pretty much anyone who can hold the reins. Romeo will lope around the arena with cadence and catches both leads. He will side pass and open and close a gate. He has been desensitized to all the props, equipment and kids around here and isn’t a spooky horse. RS Maverick Kirk, affectionately known around the barn as Goose. This 7-year-old, 15 hand gelding is the total package! He has the looks, mentality, manners, athletic ability and just enough “wow” factor to make everyone want to meet him. He’s the horse that’ll have you out there pretending you’re in a movie when really you’re just cruising through the pastures. He’s gentle, sound, and easy to be around. The type that doesn’t need to be ridden every day to stay broke you can pull him out after a week (or three), brush off the dust, hop on, and go. He’s dependable. Goose is great to ride in or out of the arena. He will Walk, trot, canter in the arena or in the field outside. He has a nice Stop and backs easily. He has been exposed to pretty much anything and everything we have thrown at him. From the big bouncy ball, the ropes all over his legs and even GUNFIRE. He’s handled it all. He stands to mount but better yet we have him trained to step over to the mounting block for an easier way to get on. We have gathered and sorted cattle with him here on our ranch. Casey has roped a few in the pasture with him and he could go to the team roping arena if you choose. We have hauled him to the local roping’s where we supply cattle and used him to flag, clear the arena and bring steers back. He has put in long days and stays where you put him. Goose he been a pleasure to have around and easy to ride. He never has had a bad day. He trains easily to new things and retains what you teach him. Goose Loads up easily in the trailer. He loves a bath after a long days work. He ties, stands for the farrier all without acting like it’s the end of the world. He’s basically that horse who’s always relaxed no matter what chaos you’ve got going on. He will walk up or down, over or under and through just about anything you point him at. Goose has a friendly personality. He is easy to catch, loves attention, has the look that everyone desires and a heart you can’t help but love. Pooh Bear was such a good boy for me in the trail and ranch horse classes. We ended up 3rd in the trail in a very tough top 3 and 5th in the ranch horse. He was so easy for me to show and gave me all the confidence I needed. He found the perfect home on Saturday!

2019 registered APHC blanketed Appaloosa gelding. Affectionately known as Snickers around the barn. He is a love bug. He loves attention and wants to be around you. Snickers stands 15.1h He is the perfect size and so smooth to ride. At just 6 years old he is well rounded. He is a solid ranch horse and is capable of doing all the chores on the ranch from roping, doctoring, dragging at the branding and big gathers. He will open and close just about any gate and stays level headed in all situations. Snickers is also trained in the team roping arena on the head side and could go on and be a jackpot or rodeo head horse if you desire. He is really cowy, can really run to one and handles a rope with easy. If the ranch and the arena isn’t your thing and you just want a rock solid trail horse then snickers is your guy too. He’s steady eddy on the trail, we ride him by the highway and with our children on him. He’s always been safe. He’s been desensitized to gunfire, tarps, balls, ropes and even flew the kite off him on a windy day. Snickers is truly a family horse and is well rounded yet handy enough to get any job done. We trust this gelding and know whoever gets him will love him as much as we have. Safe sane and sound.
