Look at this handsome 12-year-old Red Roan gelding!! He stands 15H with good strong feet. Dusty has spent his life getting ridden by everyone in the family. Saddle him up every day or once a month he will ride off and stay broke. While riding down the streets during the parades he gets noticed by everyone. He carries flags and rides right downtown without getting spooked. Dusty loves to push the big ball around the arena and goes over all the trail obstacles with ease. Honest and confident is the best way to describe him down the trials. He walks out at a steady pace, will take the lead or follow anywhere in the group. Where do we start with Junior…. Well, we have owned him since he was a baby two-year-old when we bought him from a cutting trainer. Junior is sired by the 3.8 million dollar sire Smart Aristocrat who earned $172,846 and five limited-age titles. His mother is Wings of a Lena a daughter of Quejanaisalena. Junior stands 14.3h and weighs approximately 1300lbs. We have done a little of everything with him in and out of the arena. We started making a breakaway horse out of him a few years ago and then we had two children, and life has got in the way so Junior got put on the back burner with his roping career. We have decided to offer him for sale in hopes someone will finish him in the roping and go win big with him. He has a natural cow sense, he’s good with ropes and he has a big set of brakes. Heel on him, Breakaway on him or make him a really cool calf horse. He is super broke, very talented and an all-around good citizen. He gets along well in the pasture, great in a stall and will go shod or barefoot. He requires ZERO maintenance and has NO bad habits. We really love this gelding, this has been a hard decision but we know you will love him as much or more than we do. We know him in and out and he truly is genuine and pure. Down the trail he walks out with a big steady bridle rein swinging walk and is easily guided with one hand. He goes up and downhills, through water, over the logs, bridge, downfall and thick brush. Standing at 15.2h he’s the perfect size to suit a wide variety of riders and his easy-going personality makes him family friendly for all levels of riders. He’s a seasoned ranch horse.
