Confidence builder, best friend and your trusty partner. Legend is the first one to greet you and will always be happy to see you even after a long day in the saddle. I’m still not fully convinced he believes he’s a horse, he’s pretty sure he belongs in the house. His fun personality makes him enjoyable to be around and yet respectful and well behaved. Legend is the same everyday weather is snowing at 5 in the morning and you’re headed out to work cattle, rush hour traffic going to town get some ice cream or late nights dragging the kids around on the sled. We have ridden this guy for any and all ranch work, trail ridden him everywhere and even let beginners ride him. Legend is an own son of $6 million dollar sire Sweet Lil Pepto and out of a daughter of Freckles Pl***oy! Making him not only a dream to ride but take a look at that pedigree it’s filled with some of the greatest cow horses that lived. Legend rides around quietly on a draped rein, guiding easily with one hand and going where you ask without hesitation. I can’t express how safe he really is! Our 2 year old boy can ride him anywhere with us and he is always asking to lead him around everywhere and let Legend eat grass. We ride him ba****ck with a string around his neck. They don’t come any fancier than this! Platinum is an own son of the legendary Pale Face Dunnit and out of an own daughter of Jacks Electric Spark. He has all the color in the world and as much chrome as you can put on one. 4 high white legs, bald face with blue eyes. Platinum is 14.2h and is absolutely beautiful. At only 4 years old he has already been shown in the reining and is a money earner. With his elegant fast spins, big sliding stop, easy lead changes and gorgeous circles he can continue in the reining pen, ranch riding shows or be the prettiest guy in town. This is an outstanding gelding that always saddled up gentle with no funny business. Our son Stetsons rides him all over with us, leads him around and brushes him. I can spend all day telling you how cool he is and how much of a blast he is to ride. Down the trails he is confident and will ride out alone or in a group. He’s gathered cattle and isn’t spooky. We have started roping the dummy on him. Drug logs, tarps all over him he just goes with the flow. Platinum will ride western or English and has a very fluid movement. Anytime you put a halter on Hickory you know it’s going to be a good day. He is one of the easiest horses to be around and ride. Point and go he’s right there in the palm of your hand, riding one handed and soft in the bridle. It doesn’t matter how hot or cold it is he’s going to saddle up gentle and does NOT need ridden every day. Hickory has the kind personally everyone is looking for making him the perfect partner. Hickory is sired by a son of the legend himself Colonels Smokin Gun and he has the best of both worlds being crossed on a cow horse. We have done everything on him from working on the ranch, carrying flags, letting the kids ride him, trails, there isn’t much he hasn’t done. Down the trails he is honest, sure footed on rocky terrain and knows how to handle himself up and down steep hills. He crosses water, bridges and downfall. Tarps, flags, traffic, wildlife doesn’t scare him. Hickory will spin a hole in the ground going as fast or as slow as you ask. He has a big sliding stop when you say whoa and is easily guided one handed. Perfect to take to the ranch riding and ranch versatility shows. Hickory is pretty with his beautiful bay color, big kind blue eyes, and just the perfect amount of chrome. We have tracked cattle with him, started steer stopping and he’s super cowy and has some real interest in cattle. Wow 7 years old and easy on the eyes! He’s a big 15.3h gentle puppy dog. We bred and raised him. His mother has produced lots of rope horses, barrel horses, ranch horses and was one of our favorite mares. His sire Profit Increase ran AAA on the race track and produced many track winners and barrel horses up in the North. I have had a ton of success on brothers to him out of both sire and dam in the barrel and roping pen. Brother as we call him has a ton of talent, always saddles up gentle, with a kind eye and the most willing attitude. He was one of the easiest ones we have started! He stands like the perfect gentleman to be groomed, bathed, clipped and loves all the attention. Our 2 year old son rides him with us, gives him treats and loves to brush him, Ferrari is so gentle and patient. He was started in a reining program and then went on to be shown in the ranch riding classes. He has been started on the roping machine, on slow cattle and will make a really nice head horse. Gorgeous doesn’t even begin to describe Pokémon. He has a snow-white mane that hangs down his shoulder with a long flowing tail. He comes running to meet you at the gate and absolutely loves attention. His full year in a reining program has given him smooth correct spins, sliding stop, and beautiful circles on a draped rein. Pokémon rides outside with confidence and has gone everywhere we have asked him. He doesn’t get spooked by traffic, dogs, equipment and wildlife. Pokémon is a blast to ride with his willing personality and kind demeanor. We ride him down the trails, used him to gather and sort cattle. He rides out alone or in a group. We have crossed creeks, downfall, gone up and down steep hills and he takes it all in stride. Pokémon is so smooth in all gaits making it comfortable to ride all day. We can’t say enough good things about him. Every time you throw your saddle on, he’s gentle. He’s got good size foot and bone to go along with all of his 15.1H. Ranchin on the highway! Lil Star
From breakaway roping to some ranchin on the highway on a Sunday. Roping calf decided to ditch the arena and find the highway. Lil Star was a champ!!
