Friends for Animals Adoption Shelter We are a no-kill shelter and our goal is to place spayed/neutered pets, who due to no fault of their own have lost their homes, back into loving homes.

Friends for Animals is a small non-profit, no-kill adoption shelter. We can house 10-20 dogs in our facility. The grounds consist of heated/air conditioned kennel space. In nice weather our dogs are able to exercise in outdoor play yards. Our adoption area and meet/greet room is housed in a white frame house.

Bella always has the cutest expression on her face! Don't know if it is the wild ears or just her personality coming through. Bella is a 8 month female Shepherd mix. We're guessing that she's near full size at about 30 lbs. Bella loves to play & get love from her people. She's also doing well with leash skills. Brothers Comet & Cosmo are 5 month old male Heeler mixes. We've been pleasantly surprised with their energy level. Each of the puppies have been in & out of our office area & they just love people & want to be pet. We're going to classify their energy level as normal puppy energy & not that over the top cattle dog energy level that Heelers so often possess. Our best guess is that they'll be in the 35-40 lb. range, full grown. They are working on leash training. ARCHIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Three peas in a pod! Acorn (female), Aspen (female) & Archie (male) are 3 month old Terrier mixes. We're thinking that Archie & Aspen will be in the 25-30 lb. range, full grown. Acorn is much smaller in bone structure, has short legs & we're guessing that she'll be in the 20-25 lb. range, full grown. These guys are starting leash training & crate training & we'd classify them as having normal puppy energy.
