Friends for Animals Adoption Shelter We are a no-kill shelter and our goal is to place spayed/neutered pets, who due to no fault of their own have lost their homes, back into loving homes.

Friends for Animals is a small non-profit, no-kill adoption shelter. We can house 10-20 dogs in our facility. The grounds consist of heated/air conditioned kennel space. In nice weather our dogs are able to exercise in outdoor play yards. Our adoption area and meet/greet room is housed in a white frame house.

These female 5 month old Terrier mixes are Kylie 13 lbs., Kendall 17 lbs. & Kayla 15 lbs. We're guessing that they'll be in the 30 lb. range, full grown. These puppies certainly weren't abused but they just didn't get the handling & socialization that they should have at an early age. We are currently working to remedy this situation. Each of these girls is responding well & coming to enjoy being around people & seeing that people equals love & pets. We're also working on leash training. We've been pleasantly surprised at how well they are doing with their crate training. Like all puppies, these girls will need a home where they will continue to be socialized with other people & dogs so they can continue to grow. Each of these puppies have a friendly personality & in a short time they will be caught up to their age appropriate socialization levels. Party boy Marshall is a 2-3 year old male Shepherd/Lab mix. We have 2 videos posted of him playing with puppies Gigi & Cami & also adult Hannah. He does enjoy his toys & friends, both dog & human. Marshall weighs about 70 lbs., & is considered full grown. Marshall is very friendly & walks on leash. Hannah is one of those dogs that pictures just don't do justice to her beautiful markings. This 2 year old female Catahoula mix is full grown at around 50 lbs. Hannah is a fairly mellow girl & has been an indoor dog. We have video of her posted in the play yard playing with Marshall so she does enjoy outside time also. Fun in the sun! Marshall, Gigi, Cami & Hannah were all running & playing in our play yard recently . We're so lucky to have the space to get the dogs out for play time. This is a boost for their mental health & ever important dog socialization skills. Plus, it's just a lot of fun for not only the dogs but the humans who are monitoring the play yard. Gorgeous Hannah is a 2 year old female Catahoula mix. We're just getting to know Hanna but she is very friendly. We've been told that she has been an indoor dog but does enjoy outside time. Hannah seems to be slightly under weight currently but should probably be in the 50 lb., range.
