🚨 URGENT: Asheville Humane Society needs our help! 🚨

The catastrophic damage from Hurricane Helene has overwhelmed the Asheville Humane Society, and countless animals are in desperate need of safety. We’re partnering with BISSELL Pet Foundation to rescue as many pets as possible, but we can’t do it without your help!

We need emergency fosters to help us take in these animals! If you’ve never fostered before, that’s okay! Fostering is completely free—Forsyth Humane Society will provide you with all of the supplies you might need to help care for one of these animals. Every foster home we can secure is another life we can save! 🐾❤️

Blue is home safe and sound thanks to a good samaritan that saw her on the road and picked her up. They called the owner today to advise that they found her and the owner met her and got their little girl. The family is overjoyed to have her back. We want to think all the community that was looking out for her and CTDGRV, Donna, Bruce, Shawn and Erica that assisted her family. If you see a poster could you take it down which would be very helpful to the family!

This adventurous friendly little girl decided to run after a squirrel and into the woods in their backyard this afternoon. She has not returned, and her family is very worried. Please be on the lookout and if seen please do not call out or chase her. Please call the number on the flyer immediately to help get this, sweet baby back home where she belongs!
