Today I get to play nurse with Tallulah. After yesterday’s shenanigans me and her mum had to come up with a plan .. therefore Tallulah is staying at my house during the day. This way I can give her her meds, check her bandage and cuddle and smooch her allllll day 🥰😍😘😅

The reason I don’t book visits back to back on a tight schedule is to allow me time with the fur kids. Each visit is different and you never know what might happen. Yesterday, Tallulah was on her daily hike with me and ended up with a nasty cut in her paw. I was able to get her home, clean the wound and take her to the local vet. They wouldn’t help and I ended up taking her to my house whilst we waited for her relative to pick her up and take her to the emergency vet. She ended up being sedated so they could stitch her paw. She was such a brave girl.

Tallulah’s Mom is amazing and we kept each other updated at all times with what was happening .. 😘

There is just no way I could have or would have left her home alone with a bleeding paw. I do this because I love the kids I care for.

I hope all my wonderful families enjoyed their summer holidays.
Mine was interesting … I was stung by a venomous caterpillar which was incredibly painful 😖 I caught Covid whilst on vacation, returned home and then my hubby caught it. I was attacked by Poison Ivy, now dealing with itchy, painful blisters!!

Apart from that .. it’s time to get those walking shoes back on and get those adventures rolling.

I’m so excited to be back with all the kids I care for and excited to meet new fur kids who want to join me on my daily adventures ☺️
