The participants learn the proper use of the collar to control behavior in a positive, not negative, manner. The language of the Remote Collar method is taught. Motivation, Timing and Consistency. The class teaches the handlers to deal with problem behavior, using the Remote Collar, in all phases of police canine work. We give the participants the tools and the knowledge to deal with and correct common problems. Everything from losing focus on tracks or during contraband searches, dog aggression and a release during high drive, intense, handler protection work. The training also gives everyone the tools to have their dog under complete control, off leash, no matter what the environment or circumstances.
Classes are done with a 2:1, or less, student to instructor ratio. All instructors are former or current Law Enforcement Officers.
Cost of the Seminar is $875.00, which includes the Remote Collar.
