Pickles arrived here at the shelter as a stray on July 2nd, 2024. When he arrived, he was very fearful of people to the point where he would not let us near him for the first few weeks. Every day, staff members would sit outside his kennel, feeding him treats through the kennel door and just sitting with him for a while hoping to slowly start gaining his trust.
After a few weeks of socializing with him outside of the kennel, the staff started to see a big improvement in him. Since opening up and showing us his real personality, we've learned that he loves to play fetch with his frisbee, getting the zoomies, giving his paws for treats, and giving hugs 🐾
Pickles has been in the shelter now for 85 days and is still looking for his perfect human companion to call his own! If you think Pickles is a perfect match, please stop out at our facility to meet him in person, he is sure to steal your heart and some Pup-peronis!

Meet the one and only, Flash! He is our only senior dog here at the shelter, but you wouldn't know it by his excessive need for zoomies,
racing his humans, and thrashing around in the grass for some good old back rubs!
Although Flash is a pretty social guy, he can still be quite the particular fellow so because of that, we do recommend a home with no small children.
If you are interested in meeting this handsome little man in person to see if he would be the perfect fit for you, please stop out at the
shelter anytime between 8-5, Tuesday through Sunday, Flash will be waiting to show off his charismatic personality!
Nash is still available and waiting to show off his unique, bold, and attentive personality! He is a super athletic boy who likes to wear himself right out into a super snooze fest. He is still looking for his forever person or persons who will be just the right fit for him!
Please understand we are limited on staff and time, we are unable to respond to Facebook comments or messages. Please stop by to visit and/or reserve me, or email [email protected] if you have questions!

Kitten or Bobcat?!
UPDATE: BMO has been reserved for adoption!
We are pretty sure BMO is convinced that she is actually a wild bobcat.
Little BMO has a short little tail and a lot of energy! Watch her vicious predator moves on this unsuspecting stuffie! You can't deny she has some major skills!

Milky Way is home…..we love you buddy! Thank you for being an amazing pal!
Wheatley has been ADOPTED!
If you are looking for a lap cat, you truly can't find one of higher quality than Wheatley!
Given the whole visitation room to roam outside his kennel, Wheatley chooses lap time over play time. His happy paws knead the air while he purrs away. ❤
Wheatley is part of our Empty the Shelters event courtesy of the BISSELL Pet Foundation, so his adoption fee is only $25!
A small price to pay for a forever lap buddy! Whoever adopts Mr. Wheatley is going to have a hard time getting up and getting anything done!
