This Valentine’s Day, show your pet some extra love while keeping them safe – and help keep other pets safe by sharing this post!

Here are a few Valentine’s pet safety tips to keep in mind:

🩷 Keep chocolate, candy, and treats with xylitol far out of reach—they’re toxic to pets!
🩷 Watch out for flowers like lilies, which are especially dangerous for cats.
🩷 Be mindful of lit candles and decorations that curious paws might knock over.
🩷 Secure ribbons, strings, and wrappers to avoid accidental ingestion.

February is American Heart Month – for our pets too!

Our pets give us their whole hearts every day and we want to share what you need to know to keep your furry valentine heart-healthy.

Wellness exams are the #1 way we can stay on top of a healthy heart, but if you notice any of these signs please get your pet checked right away:
• Persistent cough that lasts for at least one or two weeks
• Breathing problems including rapid breathing
• Abdominal swelling
• Fainting or collapsing
