UPDATE: Bucky found a great home and we’re thrilled for him! Thank you everyone for sharing! 🩵
Bucky was recently surrendered to us and needs a new home! He did have fleas and tapeworms but has been treated for both. Previous owner also had him neutered, front declawed, and all vaccines are current. He’s 18 weeks old and full of energy!

Dr. Anderson and his family are taking a well deserved vacation, so we will not have a veterinarian on staff tomorrow. Friday, we will have Dr. Kelliher.
We will be open our usual hours tomorrow and can fill prescriptions, food, and the vet techs will be here to do any vaccines (except Rabies), allergy injections, arthritis injections, etc. Our grooming department is also open all day tomorrow for already scheduled appointments.

Our neuter and spay events are on Monday and Tuesday next week. If you're on the schedule, please make sure you bring your cat in a carrier and don't feed the night before after 8 and no food that morning.
Come in and see the girls wearing these Solensia light up cat ears Monday and Tuesday! Dr. Anderson was kind enough to model them for us.

We've decided to do a HUGE spay and neuter event for cats in May! Round up all your barn cats and house cats and get them fixed for a deep discount one day only!

Since summer is sneaking up on us, we decided to try to get as many dogs tested for heartworm as we can, so Dr. Anderson gave us 75 free tests!
**Did you know heartworm is transferred by infected mosquitoes?
**An average of 7 in 10 mosquitoes carry heartworm.
**Heartworm prevention differs from treatment.
**We have a variety of preventive options, from an injection that lasts for 6 months, to a chewable that does fleas, ticks, heartworm, roundworm, and hookworms.

Is your pet due for a vaccine soon? Would you like to get it for free?! Then you're in luck! For Dr. Andersons 1 year anniversary since purchasing Family Pet Clinic Grand Island, we're hosting a free vaccine clinic for our current clients on Monday, March 25th.
We have 25 of each vaccine listed below, 25 Rabies vaccines for dogs, and 25 Rabies vaccines for cats. This is limited to one vaccine per owner and is first come first served.

😷🤒 Parvo virus alert! 🤒😷
We've already seen several cases of Parvovirus over the last few weeks, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. Parvo attacks the body fast and it needs treatment ASAP.
Please make sure your dogs are fully vaccinated and up to date, if they're a puppy, they need 4 sets of vaccines, each a month apart, before they're considered fully vaccinated.
If your dog starts showing any of these symptoms, contact your vet immediately:
○ severe, often bloody, diarrhea
○ vomiting
○ loss of appetite
○ lethargy
If your dog hasn't received any vaccinations yet, please call us at 308-384-6147 to get started.
