Let’s talk about nails!

• at glitter paws we cut & file pups nails to get them as short as possible without quiking them!

• the quick is a vein inside the nail. It grows with the keratin of the nail, the quick determines how short your stylist can cut your pups nails. We never purposely quik a dog.

• how do I keep them short??? Monthly nail trimming and filing will ensure the quik receding back - meaning we can take more nail off every time you come in!

•how often do we recommend nail trims? Monthly or less! Some pets require 3-4 week schedules, others grind them down while walking.
