Korva’s name means “ear” in Finnish — a sweet, ironic twist for this beautiful deaf boxer mix who doesn’t need sound to understand love. What she lacks in hearing, she makes up for in heart, energy, and an unshakable desire to connect.
At just a glance, you’ll see she’s full of s***k. She zooms around with joyful abandon, her tail a blur, her eyes bright with curiosity. But beneath her playful spirit is a dog who has been waiting — patiently, bravely — for her person for over 7 months.
Korva doesn’t just want to be seen. She wants to be understood.
She’s high-energy, yes — a girl who thrives on movement, learning, and interaction. But she’s also eager, so eager, to tune in to someone who’s willing to speak her language. She’s learning hand signals and body cues like a champ, and she’ll light up the moment she realizes you’re speaking to her.
