A super cool dad took his daughter to see TSwift in Indy and asked me to make a Taylor doll for her. He sent me an inspiration picture of what his daughter wore to the concert (similar to what the doll is wearing). I was pretty excited with how the doll turned out! Sparkly shoes and dress, friendship bracelets, and some wild hair 🩷

IBKC goes Halloween! I dusted off the sewing machine and used a toothpick to bring my felt glue bottle cap back to life. My daughter was an Umbreon this year! Last year I bought her costume for twice what I spent materials on this year.
(Don't call me next year - I'm only making my own kid's Halloween costumes 🤪)

Sometimes I get ridiculous requests (the cat couch) and sometimes get cute requests that I make ridiculous...

I grossly underestimated how much yarn, time, and stuffing this one would take. I received a request for a firetruck, but I couldn't find a pattern big enough. So I just bought the tiny pattern and used a giant hook with giant yarn and hoped for the best. It turned out HUGE! Oops! Good thing this little boy is obsessed with firetrucks!

I received a spontaneous request for an embroidered sweater a few weeks ago and already have several orders for customs (thanks to the Brews at the Zoo event!)

Last night was so much fun! The staff were incredibly hospitable, the guests were so fun to interact with, and put on a great show! Not to mention the weather being absolutely gorgeous.

My second market was a success! Truly, and this sounds lame, but I'm so proud when someone giggles at the name (thanks ), their eyes roll to the back of their head when they realize how soft the animals are, or when a group of retirees argues over which animal they liked best.

It means the world to me when I learn what child is getting the animal, where they live, and that they are obsessed with dinos, so this one will make their day. 🩷 (One from last night is being sent to Louisiana!)

Our new nephew J has been here one month already! I crocheted this blanket while praying for his healthy delivery and for his life to be full of blessings and happiness. We love you, little dude, and we are so excited to watch you grow up! 💙

What an incredible day! 🩷

My first vendor fair was today and I am exhausted!
I'm so very thankful for the people that stopped by my booth tonight, for my incredible husband , and my friends and family who have always supported this passion project.

I learned so much over the last few months about craft fairs, inventory prep, fair pricing, and more. I truly prefer making custom orders with a specific recipient in mind, but tonight was a great opportunity to meet new people, pass out business cards, and get new "regulars" in my inbox for orders!

For everyone who has reached out to place custom orders in the last few weeks, you are now my number one priority!
