Jazzy (FKA Missy), a dog we pulled into rescue a few years ago from West Seneca Dog Control is hanging with us for a few days while her parents enjoy a vacation. She’s showing us all her tricks for a special Christmas cookie ⛄️

We are so honored to have (what we believe) is the best veterinary clinic in WNY! VCA Sheridan Animal Hospital takes care of all of our shelter pups & Rescue Buffalo pups too!!! Direct access to licensed DVMs at any given hour is sometimes critical.

We are seriously so grateful for everyone at this clinic that helps us help our local dogs! It is incredibly important to have a solid veterinary clinic that can keep up with the demand our local dogs need.

Every single VCA employee, Vet, LVT, assistants and mangers goes above and beyond for our shelter pups. The love they receive , the patience , kindness , knowledge and professionalism is truly admirable.

💚This holiday season, please be KIND to your veterinary staff. They need love and support too ❤️

Meet MooCow 🐮

She lived a life of pure hell and she was purposely tethered to a pole in the basement of a house to be demolished… to living in a shelter for months that has taught her people ARE good , she does matter, wearing pink isn’t just on Wednesdays, and life is beautiful!!!

CHARLIE IS SAFE!!!!! He is home ❤️ we spotted Charlie on Old Oaks Post thanks to a tip from a neighbor this morning! He was spotted in between yards , we hopped out of the car started calling to him as soon as he recognized Kelli he came right to her 🩷. We can not ever thank everyone who was involved enough for all of our help! Sherlock Bones Lost 'N Hound Dog Recovery, Jason for coming out with his drone, All staff of TPC, fosters of Rescue Buffalo volunteers with Buddy's Second Chance Rescue and all of the neighbors in that area calling us & looking out for our guy. He is back with his BSCR foster and will be on strict leash restrictions ❤️. We love this community for jumping right in to help!!! * see photos in comments*

This sweet little buttercream Bambi came into our shelter not long ago as a stray from City of Niagara Falls.

During a shelter exam this week, our shelter director noticed Bambis belly looked distended….
Immediately our shelter director felt her belly and noticed it was firm, so we called our vet and brought Bambi in for imaging.

Confirmed BABIES!!! Upon Bambi’s initial vet exam at her arrival just a few weeks ago, there were no signs of a possible pregnancy.

Now, a shelter is no place for a new mama to have her babies… and Bambi is about 50 days. So we contacted our local rescue colleagues to see who could take this mama and give her a home for her to have her babies in….. and our amazing friends at & pals rescue took her into their rescue today. 🩷🫶🏻

PLEASE consider donating to this little family and to their amazing rescue organization !!!
