Ok, the truth. I ask for help with a non profit months ago…get no response from the law office. I asked for help with JPAWS, great for medical but they sent my kittens home with ringworm and a URI which makes them unadoptable. Cat Haven who has take kittens has gladly taken 50 or more kittens/Juvenilles and adult cats from a hoarder in Crowley seems to have a problem to find space for our kittens/juvenilles and adults. But we were just wonderful when they needed kittens in March. That is the truth, We are fine when needed but disappear when we are not! But ohhhh! Maybe in a week or two! So I think I may have to officially become a hoarder to get help.

Sadly this may be my last year rescuing kittens and only doing TNR. We tried to become a non-profit, I wish I could say I could do it but between taking care of kittens, TNR, going for survivor care for cancer, I don’t have the time to do all the paperwork on my own. I tried to get help with no success, so without nonprofit status and the inflation factor in play I just cannot continue covering the food, litter and travel to Harvey for the medical care and bringing kittens for adoptions. I thank everyone for the donation they have helped greatly. So next year if I continue I will be limited to 10 kittens. I am so sorry.

Remember Duckie? Well she is doing great. We got her with Swimmers Syndrome and she was unable to walk, we did therapy, stretching and massaging her legs, swimming and taping her legs in proper position. Today Duckie is running, climbing and playing like the other kittens.

Do you know me? We trapped this kitten in the back of Fig Lane. We may have someone’s pet. She is sweet just a little afraid. She has a wound under her chin that I cleaned this morning. Please share, if she belongs to somebody we definitely want to bring her back spayed.

Remember Duckie? Well she is doing great. We got her with Swimmers Syndrome and she was unable to walk, we did therapy, stretching and massaging her legs, swimming and taping her legs in proper position. Today Duckie is running, climbing and playing like the other kittens.

This is little Bessie, an Orange Female Marble Tabby, she came to us very thin and very sick, she had Coccidia, tapeworms, and roundworms. She was malnourished and anemic, she is on a regime of dewormer and she has improved so much in just a week, she is happy and playing and loving life. She will be ready for adoption once she is spayed. Please share to help Bessie find a forever home.

Thurston Howell was trapped at Grand Isle Marina with his sisters Ginger, Mary Ann and Skipper. They were scared little cats but now are very sweet. Thurston has been neutered and needs two more boosters then her can go to his forever home.
