My feed is full of people pushing parasite cleanses as the magical cure for autoimmune disease — and as someone who’s spent years battling chronic pain, multiple surgeries, and complex diagnoses, it’s both insulting and exhausting.

Friendly reminder from someone living with an autoimmune disease:
Parasites aren’t the secret villain behind every chronic illness — and drinking some sketchy cleanse won’t “heal your immune system.”

Yes, parasites exist. Yes, they can affect health in rare cases. But autoimmune diseases are complex. They’re not caused by hidden worms or solved by viral trends.

Let’s be curious and critical. People with real health struggles deserve better than wellness clickbait.
