Discover the importance of early lab work for your furry companions at Orchard Mesa Veterinary Hospital. At Orchard Mesa Veterinary hospital we recommend lab work as early as 2 years old for early disease detection and establish a baseline, we also recommend pre surgical blood work for any age, including under 1 year old, to help detect any underlying condition that could potentially cause surgical complications, even in procedures such as spay and neuter. During the month of March we are encouraging early detection lab work and offering $30 off early detection lab work for our furry friends under 7 years of age. Don't worry our senior furry friends, September is still your month and we will offer the Senior Lab Work discount this coming September. But this is a great chance if you have a senior pet that needs 6 month monitoring lab work, you can take advantage of the $30 for follow up lab work the month of March. The early detection panels for dogs include: Heartworm test, f***l send out test to look for parasites, complete blood count, and a overview of organ function, looking at liver, kidney function.
