The Keiths feel that Briggs has changed their family in such amazing ways they wanted to give back by helping us build our training and enrichment center so that we can help more children in need. They have generously agreed to match all donations through October!!

Registration is open for our upcoming obedience classes! 🎓

Our beginner obedience class will cover the basics of heel, down, stay, walking on a loose leash, and addressing any behavioral issues. We want to teach you how to be your dog's training partner for life! We will also cover basic socialization skills, manners with other dogs, and how to read your dog.

Classes are five weeks long and will start on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 5:30-6:30 PM. Registration is limited to 7 dogs per class.🐾

Roman had a great birthday last week. All of his friends that made dog ear hand bands and wore all black to look just like him! He was a little sleepy by the end of the day but he definitely enjoyed his day!

September is National Service Dog month; therefore, the team from Canines for Change would like to take this opportunity to showcase our service dogs who have made a profound impact on many lives. Service dogs are highly trained dogs skilled in helping people with a variety of disabilities from seizures to medical response needs. These canine heroes are required to perform at least three commandable tasks to help their person mitigate a disability. Canines for Change service dogs are trained to press emergency buttons, get help when someone is in need while they are out in public or at home, retrieve various items such as phones or emergency medicine bags as well as provide grounding for a person when they are having or are coming out of a medical episode. We would like to thank Gizzard Fest and The City of Potterville for the donations from their Clucking 5k back in June. We appreciate your support and all the runners that participated.

Gizzard Fest is not your ordinary festival. Thousands of people stream into Potterville for this unique event and good old-fashioned fun! The small town atmosphere, live music, carnival, and great food (including plenty of gizzards) bring people from across the Midwest.
