This isn’t a service post, but something personal we wanted to share.
One of our customers could no longer properly care for their dog. She had spent her entire life neglected and chained on the side of a house. After seeing her living conditions, we had a conversation with the owner and asked that she be rehomed so she could have a chance at a better life.
Recently, we personally took her to the vet for rabies shots, ear medication, and flea treatment. When we first stepped in, she was underweight and covered in fleas. She has since gained her weight back, her ears are healthy, and she is flea and worm free.
When we learned she was still being kept outside in 30 degree weather, we went and picked her up ourselves and took responsibility for rehoming her. She’s been with us for about a week now and has done incredibly well.
She is friendly, potty trained, and loves sleeping on a padded bed, something she never had before after spending her life on a hard surface. She’s a genuinely good dog.
Unfortunately, we can’t keep her permanently. With an existing dog and a newborn at home, we aren’t able to add another long-term member to our family.
If you or someone you know is interested in giving her a loving home, please reach out to us directly. We would love to see her placed with a family that will care for her the way she deserves.
Thank you for helping us spread the word.
