Little Dax was a ROCK STAR for his first Day Train lesson yesterday. Dax is most confident with his mom and dad- it has resulted in some separation anxiety. We are working on building some internal confidence and trust in other humans. Additionally Dax is learning to be balanced between play and settle when other dogs are around. Little Dove the poodle has been learning how to check in with her mom on walks and keep her leash loose. Check out this little rockstar! So proud of you all! ⭐️
Huge progress for this pup!! Woody is a VERY enthusiastic “teenager.” Most visits to the vet include yanking his handler around on the leash and barking at every person and dog he sees. This week we visited Cascade Hospital for Animals. With the right exercises and communication skills, Woody was a ROCKSTAR. He not only practiced loose leash walking and calm greetings with the lovely humans behind the counter, but he was able to remain quiet and calm while watching 10+ people and 5 dogs walk by. 🙌👏
💡 When Josie’s people let her out in the yard, they leave the door cracked for her to push her way back into the house. They requested that we teach Josie how to shut the door behind her. We’re still in progress but this girl is figuring it out quick! 🚪
💯 Sadie the service dog in training and her booties did the absolute best tonight at Lowe’s! Sadie, like many golden retrievers, is a social butterfly. So one of our major goals today was to build focus on her handler and ignore the other people in the store. Sadie was a rockstar!
