Yesterday, we spent some time celebrating birthdays for two reptile keepers in the making! 🐸🐢🐍🦎

We have had a blast with all of our reptile programs so far this summer and we can’t wait to see what the rest of this year has in store for us! ☀️

Update on Ms. Piggy the hognose that arrived in April, hanging on by a thread.
We originally thought he was a boy but she is indeed a girl! She has been steadily improving but progress is slow. She is still meeting new milestones with her activity level and body condition but she still refuses to eat on her own. Luckily, we’ve got the whole assist feed process down to a couple short minutes with her. Once we start it, she can now finish the job herself which means she is getting stronger. We’ve got an uncertain road ahead but so far so good for this little champion! ❤️ Huge thank you to those who have contributed funds to her care. 🫶🏼

Doug received a full spa day and we found some gorgeous colors under at least six layers of shed. We did everything we could for Doug but he passed away early last night - warm and loved. 💔

This is Doug the boa constrictor. It’s really hard to keep things positive with cases like this. Doug has suffered at the hands of multiple owners to the point that we may not be able to save him. We’re going to do everything we can. More updates to come. 💔
