There was just a tiny class for our last day of Foundations for Dog Sports, but a huge shout out to the entire class even if they aren't pictured! It was inspiring how many people were totally new to dog sports learn new ways to have fun with their friend.

Big Congrats to our scent work stars! We loved watching you and your dogs learn to use their nose. It's such a great activity to keep your dogs brains engaged and working and we hope they'll enjoy using their new sniffing skills!

Here's our wonderful Intermediate and Advanced Beginner Agility classes! (I'm sorry, everyone, I can't remember who is in which class!) Congrats on a successful class with your wonderful dogs! We know we'll be seeing many of you again and we can't wait for more fun agility time with these adorable pups.

Make sure you have your dog registered with Barn Hunt Association and if you want to enter online (highly recommended), create an account on Secreterrier.com with the same email you use for BHA. Instructions for that are pinned to the top of our page.

🐾✨ Ready to Have Fun with Your Dog? Join Our Agility Classes at West Michigan Dog Sports! ✨🐾

Is your dog full of energy and looking for a new challenge? Come learn more about agility! 🐕 Already an agility lover and looking to improve your skills? We've got classes for that too 🏃‍♂️

Our agility classes have been quite popular and filling up quickly, but we still have room in our Beginner Agility, Beginner 2.0, and Advanced Agility classes.

🤔 What's the difference in these classes?

Beginner Agility is for pups and humans who are totally new. No previous dog training experience is required at all to get started!

Beginner Agility 2.0 is for those teams that has some previous agility training experience, but may not have been exposed to all the obstacles offered and wants to continue on with their learning.

Advanced Agility is for teams that can perform all the obstacles and has experience running full courses who want to fine tune their skills with further instruction. A great class for those who are already competing and looking to improve or those who are looking to compete.

🐾 Exciting News for Agility Lovers 🐾

Due to popular demand, WMDS is expanding to offer additional floor time opportunities. There is now 2 earlier floor time sessions in addition to our later session. 🐶

🏃‍♂️ What to Expect:

During floor time, participants will take turns running a pre-set course or working on their own personal training goals. Like if your dog is struggling with contacts, you can use your time to just work on those. This is a very flexible "class" designed to give those who are already experienced with agility a chance to keep up their skills during the winter.
