Here's what to expect when you comes to classes with WMDS at !

We're still learning the ins and outs of the space, but so far the dogs seem to be having a good time. It can be a bit noisy when the kids are coming in and out for hockey practice so you may need some high value treats for your dog since that can be a difficult distraction. The first and last classes have been the most quiet. It's also a bit chilly inside, not bad if you are up and moving, but you may want to bring a sweatshirt if you get cold easy.

Or you can get a hot cocoa from the concession stand 😉

Hello West Side! This announcement is for you!!!

You have asked, begged and pleaded and we are delivering! Alesha and I are excited to bring you barn hunt in your neck of the woods. Scent Savvy and Michigan Barn Hunt Club are excited for this new collaboration with Mrs. Mary Jo Hennessey and Ryan’s Big White Barn in Delton, Michigan. Mary Jo has an absolutely beautiful facility that she has graciously allowed us to use. Thank you so much MJ!

During these next few winter months, we will be hosting Intro clinics, group classes and private lessons on select Saturdays starting in February. Come Spring, we hope to add some more days if there is a demand for them 🙂 This next part is dependent on you, we would love to host a trial or two there as well, but your participation is paramount for us to be able to schedule those.

We got barriers created to divide the two class spaces and went over how to set up the equipment with who are helping us out by setting up the bigger pieces before class and taking them down after! It's really getting close to the first day of classes!

WE STILL HAVE A COUPLE OF OPENINGS IN FOUNDATIONS FOR DOG SPORTS!!!
This is a great, low stress way for you and your dog to be introduced to the world of focused training and fun sports you can do together with your best furry friend.

Join us for this first ever set of dog sports classes offered by West Michigan Dog Sports! Your dog is going to love keeping their brain and body busy all winter long and you're going to love that it's indoors and climate controlled.
All the info is on the website, but here's a brief recap:
- Classes will take place Tuesdays from Jan 7th thru Feb 11th at Cedar Rock Sportsplex
- Class fee is $140 per dog
- Class size is limited to 6 dogs per class
- Pre-registration is required and registration closes Jan 2nd (or when the class fills)

Our Advanced Agility Class is now full!

The only classes with openings remaining are the foundations for dog sports and the open floor time so if you're still looking for a way to keep your dog busy this winter, check them out! Registration closes soon, so be sure to get those forms in the mail!

The Foundations For Dog Sports is fun, low stress class that is great for beginners to dog sports, those who haven't taken a group class before, and even just as something fun to do with your dog.

The Open Floor Time has no instructor and is designed for those competing in agility who want to keep up on your skills and practice in a new environment. Participants will take turns running the course with a new course set each week for 6 weeks. This is not a drop in class, you must sign up to join in.
