We are looking for guardian homes for some of our puppies. Wonder what a guardian home is?
If you are interested in one of our female puppies but have concerns about affordability, we provide several options. Our guardian home program is a mutually beneficial arrangement that allows you to receive a puppy at a reduced cost. This program enables prospective owners to create a loving environment for a puppy while supporting responsible breeding practices. Guardian homes will raise and care for the puppy, covering all general vet care and expenses during the dog's upbringing. We will take care of all health testing and breeding-related costs. When the dog is ready for breeding, she will come to stay with us to whelp and care for her litter. After the pups are weaned, she will be returned to you. We offer compensation of $1,000 for each litter after the first. Once the contract is fulfilled, ownership of the dog will be transferred to the guardian. Please reach out to us if you are interested in becoming a guardian home for one of our special puppies.

"Not pregnant". This is hard news to share about Penny and we're so sorry for all the disappointed families on our waitlist. We are equally sad too. We're not sure why this happens but we have a plan for when heats start again in January!

Sometimes things just don't go as you had hoped or planned. Sadly, Mesa's breeding did not take. We are planning on a repeat breeding in February.
We will be doing an ultrasound to check for puppies with Penny in 10 days!

Well, what we thought was going to be a clear yes or no on pregnancy for Mesa left us with an uncertainty. Mesa is pregnant, but the vet said she's not sure if this pregnancy is viable. We go back in 2 weeks to rescan, so we are left waiting again. But for now Mesa will be spoiled and rest as much as wants. She has been extra tired lately growing those babies. We will know about our other potential litter just after labor day.
