The tongue. The extra toes. The big yawn. We love everything about our Kissy girl!
Are you looking for a man with whiskers, chunky, 1'0", green eyes, and a speckled nose? Well, we have just the guy for you! Charlemagne is a happy-go-lucky boy who would love nothing more than a forever family to call his own.
He is a candidate of our Forever Foster a Feleuk Kitty program! The goal of our program is to place our FABULOUS positive cats into permanent (or as we like to say, purrmanent) homes, and at the same time alleviating potential financial strain for prospective owners.
To learn more about our Feleuk Foster program or to set up an appointment to meet Charlemagne, visit our website: https://www.crashslanding.org/adopt/forever-foster-a-feleuk-kitty/
Hector Catmacho is not your ordinary feline; he has a charming little spot on his nose that makes him stand out in the most delightful way. This unique feature adds an extra dash of purrsonality to his already fabulous character. Who wouldn't want to boop his snoot?! 🤍🖤

Today is International Cat Day! International Cat Day was created in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare. It is a day to raise awareness for cats and learn about ways to help and protect them.
Help us raise awareness by sharing a picture of your cat(s) and a fun fact about them in the comments. 😺
Oh, big stretch!

We have the cutest bathroom attendants.
[Baklava and Andy Bernard]
Virginnia, you simply can not use Fjolla as a pillow.
Fjolla seemed to quite enjoy her weighted blanket and was disappointed when Virginnia moved.
New guy Baklava is all smiles! And those cheeks! They are made for squishing! 🧡

Greetings, hoomans! It’s Lev here, and I need to address a pressing issue that has been weighing heavily on my mind (and my paws). It’s about the toilet seat lid. Yes, that mysterious contraption that you seem to have forgotten to close.
Why It Matters
First, let me clarify: I am a sophisticated creature with refined tastes. An open lid is an invitation to chaos! You see, I thrive on the elegance of my environment, and the sight of that swirling water is simply undignified for a cat of my stature.
The Perils of an Open Lid
You might think it’s just a toilet, but to me, it’s a swirling vortex of doom. One wrong leap, and I could find myself tumbling into the abyss! Not to mention the terrifying splash that could ruin my luxurious fur. Do you think I enjoy a surprise bath? I assure you, I do not!
A Request for Cooperation
I’m sure you think you’re being clever, leaving the lid up for “easy access.” Please, I implore you: let’s work together to keep my kingdom safe and stylish.
In Conclusion
The next time you finish your business, remember that I am always watching. Please show me the respect I deserve by closing the toilet seat lid. Together, we can maintain a peaceful and elegant environment, free from the dangers of the open toilet!
Thank you for your understanding, Lev.
[We can assure you that the toilet seat lid was open for a nanosecond. He's tough on us! 😉]

Wow - another year is coming to a close - I can hardly believe it! I also sometimes cannot believe that Crash’s has been in operation over 21 years!! When I think of how it all began—me, as an overworked vet looking for a place to stash stray cats other than every nook and cranny of my home—to how far we have come, I admit that sometimes I am simply flabbergasted! Never in my wildest dreams did I think that our rescues would have the impact that they have on our community, or that our mission would be reaching far and wider than our county or city, helping not only the ill, injured, or at-risk on the streets, but offering support to countless of other wonderful rescues that have taken up the cause as well. The relationships we have fostered and built since our inception in 2002 have grown beyond anything I could have anticipated, and on a personal level, the hundreds of people I have met and had the pleasure of working with (as we fight this good and noble fight) has been an unexpected bonus. In all honesty, the medical aspect of rescue work is and always has been the most rewarding aspect to my career in veterinary medicine, and it is because of these cats in my care (coming up on close to 5,000 now) that I have learned more than I ever thought possible. I have been faced with some pretty insurmountable challenges with some of these ‘cases’ presented to me, but all of the experience I have gained along the way, while trying to ‘right the wrongs', has proved to be invaluable. And even though I may not always win, and the loss of a life is too often the outcome I am left with, the knowledge I have gained will only help me to better serve those in need the next time a similar situation presents itself. Thankfully, I do get to shout out our success stories more often than not. I get to tell the tales of those who are too often unheard, kicked to the side, left for dead, ignored, abandoned, abused and forgotten—to speak for those who can’t.
Ope! Mischief Mode has been activated! We caught Raylan having a blast playing with a ping pong ball! 🏓
