Cheese may not have much hair, but it’s still very important to groom Sphynx and other hairless cat breeds.

They are incredibly oily which requires frequent bathing. They’ll get dirt in all their skin crevices – like around the neck, under the arms, and in all the little wrinkles on their bodies – not to mention what might stick to their oily little feet from the litter box

Greetings from VIP Grooming Salon!

Thank you all so much for supporting our business! As you are well aware, the cost of EVERYTHING has increased over the past year. Our business has not been exempt from those increases. We calculate that our business costs have increased 87% in the past year and, after checking in with other grooming shops in the area, we have found they have faced similar percentage increases. So, as of August 1, 2024, we will need to increase our grooming prices. Those increases will not reflect the 87% we have experienced but there will be an increase. This is not something we take lightly because we want to be affordable but to stay in business this is a necessity.

Thank you for understanding but most of all thank you for being our customer!

We groomed a rare dog breed at our salon…a Bohemian Shepherd. It was originally used as a guard dog and a herding dog.

• Though they do bear a close resemblance to the German Shepherd — the two breeds aren't related in any way or form.

• The Bohemian Shepherd is one of the oldest Czech dog breeds, dating back to the 1300’s. It originated in the west Bohemian region of Chodsko, hence its Czech name Chodský pes, but it is also known as Bohemian Herder, Czech Sheepdog or Chodenhund.

• As of 2023, it was estimated there were roughly 100 Bohemian Shepherds in North America.

THANK YOU goes out to all of our amazing customers that have supported our small business since July 1, 2014. Without you and your pets - none of this would have been possible! We are extremely grateful that we get to do what we love everyday and can provide the utmost care to your dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, or even hedgehog.

Meet August, a Schnauzer Mix that was rescued from a puppy mill that our friends at Luvnpupz took in and is caring for.

He will be up for adoption soon within the next several weeks. ❤️ 🐾

When working with our oldest clients, or those with extreme medical conditions, or dogs recovering from injuries, we always provide what’s known as a “Comfort Groom”. In these cases, while we always strive to make your dog look as best as possible, the goal is always their comfort over aesthetic.

We work around your pet in a way that keeps them from feeling pain, adding to an existing condition, or not asking them to stand for long periods of time. These pups are given multiple breaks through their stay, and position themselves comfortably, so that we can work around them.
