Want to share this as an educational post. We check our vivs very early in the AM before lights come on. I noticed something odd and an extra frog I didn't notice. We know all our frogs by the markings and patterns they have on top and underside of them. When we don't find eggs or they are very well hidden from us, tapoles will grow unassisted. This doesn't always mean they will be healthy. We try to offer everything in our vivariums for optimal growth. However, we prefer to hand raise all of our young. This child didn't make it for whatever reason. I suspect bad shed as it appeared that way to me upon closer inspection. I would have raised this child in a grow out, not in the vivarium. We've been in the hobby longer than we've been on socials or frog pages. We hope this helps new beggingers and established hobbyists.

Our male Ranitomeya Imitator Banded.
Threw him some springtails so he wouldn't come down to the forest floor where the froglets were having a springtails buffet .
We're currently experiencing a boom with our breeding. Very exciting.

We've been extremely busy in the frog room! This isn't a hobby where things happen fast. I'm very excited to be getting a large group of
*Ranitomeya Flavovitatta Tamshiyacu Tauhuayo* super soon! Their viv is already cycling! They were lucky enough to be able to be housed in an 18x24x36 tall! We found this tank for 50 bones on marketplace. Usually 400 bones.
Really excited to get these frogs soon and start to breed them!
