The secret is out!! June Bug is finally with Ms Emmzlee !!
June Bug has been playing the roll of Mrs Taylorā€™s new ā€œlesson horseā€ for a few weeks now until we got closer to Emmzlees birthday although her birthday is still a few weeks away it was perfect weather and timing for us to spill the beans!! Itā€™s been hard to keep a secret but watching her excitement on her face when she realized he was hers was all worth it!!

Havenā€™t made a Peso post in a while this boy has been awesome with this weather being so bipolar and only really have a one day a week to mess with him. He has had a few great rides in what I consider ā€œfull gearā€ breast collar, back cinch the whole nine yards he has done great!! Working slowly to being able to be a full fledge ridable horse! Im proud of this boy!

Once again thank you Photography by Katelynn for coming out and hanging out all day and getting the best shots of the girls!

There were lots of photos but hereā€™s some of my favorites!! I have others but realized I was already at 20 pics haha šŸ¤£

Soo excited to have these back thank you for using us as your props again Photography by Katelynn!
You captured my lesson kiddos fantastically!

So proud of my girls Mila placed very well in all her classes and did great in her speed events. She tried a few new classes and gave it her all!!

Kenzie placed great in her classes as well and even won Reserve Champion on Red, I didnā€™t get a picture but she got her very first place ribbon!

We also drug someone along to check out the ā€œbig kidā€ life, peso will be attending future shows to build that traveling confidence!

It was a great weekend with great people and great horses šŸ“šŸ„°

Hope everyone had great holiday season, we are gearing up for 2025 here at TKM Equine!

So taking a step away from horse related stuff to say how proud I am of Addison! Not only has she been doing great in lessons sheā€™s being working day after day with her school choir to this get to this performance and fills me in every lesson how much work she has put in, I am so proud of all her accomplishments and thank you sweet girl for inviting us to watch you perform! Only a few of you know this but I use to clean saddles as a way to make some side money, well the clients slowed down and hadnā€™t had anyone looking to get their tack cleaned so I havenā€™t done it for a while.

A few days ago I got a messaged about someone looking to get a saddle cleaned, after and few messages I was given the task to clean up this pretty little Circle Y saddle. Thank you Sierra for entrusting me with cleaning up this saddle for your lesson students and hopefully I can help with much more!

As an instructor I enjoy my students and the drive they have to want to ride but it makes it apparent that my teaching is fun and excited when parents want to get involved.
