How about this bright boy?!
His favorite thing is hanging out with the peeps. But if they get busy he will take himself back to his catwalk for a snooze.
Just look at how cute these kittens are! They are ready to come play with you!! 🐱💞 #hlh
November 1, 2016:
78 degrees and wonderfully smelly worms to roll on in all this luxurious green green grass.
Does life get any better than this? 😃😃😃
This is one of my favorite "brain games" for my dogs. In this game I hide treats around the yard for them to hunt down or to forage.
The brown puppy is just learning so we reduced the search area to just the dog pen. Next week I'll include the upper yard. And the following week I'll begin making the treats harder to find.
We humans tend to dicount our dogs' need to use thier noses. This game stimulates the dogs' noses and their minds while also tiring their bodies.
Ria is CHOOSING not to harass the cat, not to chase birds and squirrels, or bark at the neighbors. She gets a guaranteed payout by playing The Foraging Game.
The great part is that this game game can be played indoors or out by almost every dog.
Dinky is really excited to learn a new trick. We're going to see if we can teach him to wipe his face on cue. It shouldn't take long; Dinky is quite a smart cookie.
He has lots of other skills and loves to pretend that he's an Agility Super Star.
Breakfast in a Bottle (or Dinner or Snack, or whatever)
If your dog/puppy eats too fast or tends to get into mischief while you are busy with something else, this is a great diversion.
Nothing in the Doggie Rule Book says they have to eat out of a bowl.
Just set aside some plastic bottles or jugs with screw top lids and cut a couple of holes in them large enough for one piece of kibble to escape at a time.
Some dogs need to be taught how to do this usually only take a few try for them to get the hang of it.
Marvin is using a a grated cheese bottle. I had to help him a bit at first. But as you see he caught on quick.
Marvin is one of out amazing adoptable so; check out his profile at

Check it out! Big D is learning to focus, follow direction and, best of all, that he has control. When he follows simple direction, Dinky can make me give him a treat.
Hard Luck Hounds are "treated" to enrichment training with Laurie our certified trainer. Dinky is one that needs a LOT of enrichment. Check out his profile at hardluckhounds.petfinder.com
Dinky was getting a little bored with the webinar today. 😉
Brilliant!! Allie, that is! I missed the second opportunity to click & treat for bringing me the PIG. But she forgave me and brought it to me two more times so that we ended this session on a Rousing Success.
Allie-Oop is lazily and adorably learning to identify her PIG toy. Hopefully we will build on this and begin learning to retrieve.
