Founded in 2017 by Lindsey Kite Smith, Still Point Farm focuses on the development of both horse and rider with an emphasis on proper technique, equitation, and gradual but steady growth, leading to competitive success

It was a speedy week for Amelie Conforti and Hope I’m Good at GSWEC’s Final Chase! The pair took home Reserve Champion in the Weekend Jumpers out of 19+ competitors 🏆

The Still Point crew had a great spooky time at Monster Mash in Katy. We had some new horses and new pairs making their show debut, and are so proud of how everyone went around.

Sierra & Action Man were fast and clean in the Modified Children’s Jumpers, earning Reserve Champion of the division.

Alex & SW Frequent Flier had a great first time out together in the Low Adult Hunters. In huge classes, they put in consistent trips with highlights including a win over fences and 6th out of 25 in the under saddle.

Alyssa & Sonet V made their show debut together to great success, including 2nd in a big class.

Our pony power pair, Emme & Just Keep Swimming, had some lovely trips in the Med/Long Stirrup. They won their warm up trip both days as well as winning the under saddle.

And finally, Dax’s new horse, Furthermore, had some nice trips with Brianna in the 3’ Green Hunters. They pinned each time out, including a 2nd in the under saddle.

We can’t wait to head back out for Final Chase later this month!

Still Point Farm closed out a hot final Summer Circuit Show with our 2’ Beginner group!

Tell Tale Heart & Meg made their show debut with us for fantastic results. They were consistent all weekend, earning Reserve Champion in the division. This team has great things ahead!

Walks With Grace & Heba earned top ribbons in many of their classes. It’s hard to believe this is only their second time in 2’, but they’ve been working hard all summer and it shows.

Blue Suede Shoes & Sidney placed in all of their classes, and are getting stronger every show. We are proud of how far you’ve come!

Still Point Farm had a great time at Wilco last weekend for the CTHJA Summer Circuit II show! Our riders have been working so hard, and their progress showed with nice ribbons in competitive classes.

Sidney & Blue Suede Shoes did their first show in the 2’ Beginner Hunter division, and had some great rounds including placing 2nd in the equitation over fences.

Heba & Walks With Grace moved up for their first time at 2’ in the Beginner hunters, getting some nice ribbons in competitive classes. Our gray hunters really showed up, both doing their first show at the big ring at Wilco. Great job girls!

Cassie piloted Linda Pryor’s Divides Smart Lil Steele for some great rounds in the open 2’ division, placing in the over fences and earning 3rd in the under saddle.

We’ll be back at the final summer circuit show to continue learning and testing our skills in the ring!

Still Point Farm had a fantastic time at Blue Ribbon Summer Series I! Our riders are pushing themselves and working hard at home, so it’s nice when the ribbons reflect their dedication.

In the hunter ring, our group had many firsts! Crusero and Lindsey made their National Derby debut, with some fantastic moments. Owner Lauren and Crusero made their 3’ Adult Amateur debut, and continue to learn and grow together as a team.

Rhaego and Alex kicked off their show partnership together with great results in the 2’6” including a win in the under saddle, winning the equitation over fences, and 3rd in the $500 2’6” Hunter Classic. They also stepped up to the 3’ on Sunday!

For our jumpers, Wonderful Willow & Bella stepped straight into the .90s for the first time, and completed two divisions at that height. They were consistent in the .90m jumpers, with nice ribbons in good competition including winning the open .90m.

L Woods SPF was on 🔥 winning all her classes except one (which was 2nd!). Her and owner Anton were champion in the .90m Mod Jr/Am, earning their first championship as a team!

Hope I’m Good & Amelie were speedy and consistent all weekend, earning champion of the .75m jumpers. This pair is so fun to watch!

Sales horse Divinity BBR has the best attitude and try as she continues to learn the hunter/jumper world. Brianna piloted this great mare through many solid rounds, including winning the open .90m.

Our SPF riders really embraced some true Texas spring weather earlier this month at the Great Southwest round up, but thunderstorms couldn’t stop this crew from making great strides in their progress!

Amelie & Hope had a fantastic rated debut in the jumpers. This powerhouse team were fast and clean all weekend, with 1st and 2nd in the huge Weekend Jumper division.

Brianna & Tinka Lady continue to get back to their winning ways, going 2 for 2 in the 1.05m jumpers and claiming champion of the division. We’re so happy to see this incredible mare back doing what she loves!

Emmy & Just Keep Swimming had a great weekend in the short stirrup, winning their first over fences together as well as first in the hack.

L Woods SPF had a fantastic week, taking the blue in both the .85m and 1.0m with Sam and then put in super rounds with owner Anton, earning 3rd and 4th in a super competitive Mod Ch/Adult jumper division.

Crusero made his National Hunter Derby debut with Sam, trying his heart out. Him and Lauren continued to work on polish and consistency during their rounds, with some nice ribbons in the Pre-Ch/Adult hunters and winning the 2’9” warmup.

Great job everyone! Looking forward to get back out there at Blue Ribbon Series in Waco next month.
